The terms of the sale are cash or cheque, payable at par at the sale location. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement has been made; no invoicing on buyers in attendance, unless previous arrangements have been made. Every animal sells to the highest bidder and in cases of disputes, the auctioneer’s decision will be final. Current exchange rates will be announced sale day. All monies are in Canadian funds. BIDDING:

Each animal will sell to the highest bidder... no by-bidding will be permitted. Disputes – Bidding will be reopened between the parties involved in dispute. If no further bidding is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision on all disputes will be final. ANNOUNCEMENTS:

All announcements made from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay close attention to such disclosures. BREEDER’S GUARANTEE:

Should any bull fourteen (14) months of age or over fail to prove a breeder after being used on females known to be breeders, the matter shall be reported in writing to the seller within six (6) months following the date of purchase

or six (6) months after the bull has reached fourteen (14) months of age. The seller will have the right and privilege of six (6) months to prove the bull a breeder. No guarantee is given that semen collected from the bull will freeze. EXCEPTION GUARANTEE:

In cases where the animal is subjected to any hormonal or surgical reproduction techniques after the sale, this guarantee shall be null and void. CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION:

Each animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Simmental Associations. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer for each animal after payment has been made. LIABILITIES:

Welcome to the 2016 edition of Double Bar D’s” Best of Both Worlds.” This year’s offering is one of the largest and strongest to date. With the Canadian dollar falling, the demand for Canadian beef and genetics will increase, as out of country consumers will see added value as they exchange money to purchase our product. The Dimler family has been working extremely hard at sourcing the very freshest and very best genetics to move their seed stock program forward. Hard work is not a new word in their vocabulary, as they currently crop over 25000 acres and calve close to 800 cows. They have a very extensive embryo transplant program as their commitment to only offer the very best product for their customers, as well as to build and retain only the best for their own cowherd is a top priority. The Double Bar D program believes in a no nonsense approach in terms of fertility, longevity and temperament. The offering has been combed over numerous times, as they are developed to offer you only the top cut of each group. The red and black offering is the strongest and deepest to date. With the addition of Captain Morgan, American Pride, Obsidian Black, Royal Affair and True Grit, coupled with cow families such as Wheatland Lady 822U, Cruisin Susan, IRCC Younique, CMS Tequelia, CWA Ms Enticer over the past few years to name a few has elevated the red and black division to a new level. This group is filled with genetically superior future herd sires packed with power, performance, along with phenotype, hair and structural soundness. MFI 88S entered our donor program shortly after our 2013 sale when her Balboa son Boom was high selling bull going to Gerald Haugland in N.D. She is a very moderate, sound cow with excellent udder, feet and legs. We thought she would be a good fit with her sire, Legacy, being somewhat outcross for us.
