when you’re having fun! We are both very excited for this year’s sale as the quality of bulls from top to bottom are by far the best we’ve ever had to offer. Thank you to all our past bidders & buyers – we greatly appreciate your support.

First, Carl wants to pass along a heartfelt thank you to all those who have invited him to their brandings. It’s Carl’s favorite time of year & he is thankful for not only your hospitality but also the chance to see your program & see how our bulls are working.

We are both very picky when selecting our herd sires. We look for a balance of performance & longevity along with good feet. We believe that without good wheels a bull can’t perform & do his job therefore the bulls we select for the sale fall under this same high standard – no feet have been trimmed.

This is the first year that we have bulls for sale out of the late Gordon Henderson’s cows that we were fortunate enough to be asked to lease before his passing. The cows are traditional and have big volume.

In our ninth year of selling Black Angus Bulls at the Carlrams Ranching Bull sale, we are so grateful to be in the business we are.

With supportive people surrounding us it makes doing what we do very rewarding. We look forward to seeing everyone at the sale, but since it is difficult to get in a visit with everyone, please come check out the bulls and their dams at the farm prior to the sale. We can enjoy some New Year cheer and/or coffee.

The bulls have received their vaccinations and have been ivomeced. As calves they were weaned middle of November and put on a hay and oat ration. They were turned out on grass on the 20th of May and brought in on September 1st. Since then they have been on self feed hay and pail fed a 13% protein pellet ration with free choice mineral. They are fed out in a bush away from the yard so they have to walk a mile every day for water. The bulls will be semen tested prior to the sale. They can be kept free of charge until April 1st when we start to deliver. All bulls returning to the farm must be insured.
