Welcome to the 16th Annual “Best of the Breeds” Bull Sale. We wouldn’t be here without our previous buyers and bidders so THANK YOU for your interest in the Twin Heritage Farms program.

Allan & Ann

Michael, Rebecca & Sons 306-220-1976

With each passing year we continue to see the advancement in our cow herd and the consistency in our bull sale offering. The bulls we have on offer are backed by a young cow base that has been selected as the top 15% of our annual replacement females with an emphasis on fertility, sound udder structure and good feet. It is rewarding to see so many young cows raising the herd bulls that we have on offer this year. Our bull pen represents the top 25% of the “G” bull calves born at Twin Heritage. The bulls are pail fed a customized bull developer ration to ensure responsible development and longevity. Please stop by the farm or give one of us a call if you have any questions. We encourage you to check out our website at www.twinheritage.com for viewing of the bull sale videos. The Kereluiks

REFERENCE SIRE – RED LAZY MC DETOUR 161D Detour 161D has exceeded our expectations of a herd bull and has left us a strong set of bulls and replacement females the last few years. The bulls are moderate built with good muscling and moderate birth weights. Backed by the exceptional dam, Detour 161D’s daughters are moderate framed, easy doing, and good uddered. We retained a son from last year’s bull pen and used him successfully on our heifers. If you are looking for moderate framed bulls with good testicle development, a strong maternal backing, and calving ease…check out the following sons.

Detour 16G is a moderate framed bull that can be used on heifers. He is backed by a top producing good uddered and good footed cow in MTH 4A. He is a full sibling to the Lot 91 bull so can be used as a pair on either heifers or cows. The Navanna cow family is one that has crossed extremely well with the Detour line and is one of the most consistent producing cow families on the farm.

The Lot 92 & 93 bulls are full brothers that were raised naturally by their dam. We lost her this year; however, she was a powerful broody female that traced back to our Zama Pine bull which is noted for his strong maternal pedigree. These bulls are almost identical in structure and size and would make a great pair if you have a pen of heifers or cows where you need a couple performance bulls. Full brother opportunities don’t come by very often and we have two full brother pairings in the offering this year.

RED SIX MILE NIO DIESEL 288D

REFERENCE SIRE – RED SIX MILE NIO DIESEL 288D We purchased Nio Diesel from Six Mile Red Angus back in 2017. We were impressed with his strong pedigree; highlighted by his elite dam. 288D had a strong foot and deep red color that he passed along to his progeny. Diesel is no longer with us, but his sons have a beautiful dark red color and pack some performance. The few daughters that we have from him are exceptionally uddered and will become foundation type females. One of his sons was our high seller last year to Radford Ranch.

Diesel 15G is a moderate framed, big hipped bull that is backed by one of the highly maternal cow families in our herd. His dam is a beautiful uddered female and traces back to the 293S cow that has raised some top selling sons over the years. The Diesel sons have a bit more performance to them and should raise a strong set of replacement females.

Another powerful, dark red son of 288D, Diesel 19G is one that catches your eye. Deep bodied with a deep red color and backed by another good uddered, moderate framed dam that traces back to the Rachel cow family at Ter-Ron. She has raised previous high selling bulls and we have retained every daughter from her. A full sibling to 19G was kept as a replacement female and is a standout, beautifu,l tight uddered female. Diesel 19G is a top performing herd bull; I suspect the new owner may end up keeping all his daughters.

Elliot 72E is a tank. Moderate framed and wide topped with style and exceptional hip. He is a neat bull in that he is the youngest we have on offer as well as the number one indexing bull for weaning weight. His dam is a powerful, soggy, good uddered daughter of Trigger 80B. Elliot 72E isn’t the biggest bull, but likely one of the stoutest, widest topped, and well muscled bulls in the offering. We believe he is as good as his picture.

Knowing the exceptional job that Motive has done for the industry and the strength of the Goldie cow family, we decided to purchase Motivator. We ended up using him on a pen of heifers and were so impressed with the calving ease and femininity of his daughters that we used him on our mature purebred herd. The outcross genetics introduce the powerful Motive pedigree to our herd and his progeny have performed well with sons being the high sellers at previous sales.

We liked his low birth weight and strong performance numbers and the outcross pedigree was interesting. 197E’s sire is the popular Semex bull, Red Ter-Ron Parker 34A and his dam traces back to the top producing Kuruba 4033P cow. We only got to use him for one year, but the son we have on offer is a pretty neat calf that should catch your eye. A full brother to Elliot sold in the 2019 Lazy MC sale for $25,000.
