Calving ease and performance continues to be our # 1 focus. This year’s bulls are sired by a new group of bulls that have low birth weight and high yearling weight epd’s. The sires we are using can be used on both cows and heifers. The result is virtually no problems at calving time.

We all know that Char-cross calves are bringing a premium at the auction market. The bulls in this sale will give you those extra pounds at weaning time without sacrificing calving ease.

The bulls this year are mostly sired from our herd sires, and I think they are an impressive lot. Once again the bulls are not pushed, they never seen any creep, stayed on pasture until November, and were weaned on straight hay. A few weeks later they went onto silage, mixed with hay, grain, and supplements. We feel that these bulls will last many productive years for their new owners.

A full brother to our high selling yearling last year through this sale, and we think he will be a Good bulls come from good cows and this one is no exception. This bull is my favorite of lot like his sire. This calf has a big middle, strong top, walks square with good bone and feet, the yearlings to date. Even though his dam is unregistered she is purebred and a dandy.

No matter what we have bred her she has had a good calf. Two years ago a full brother which he will need to carry all that timber when he grows up. Out of one of the oldest cows in the herd, 710F had been here for 15 years. Her calf died this summer in pasture, prices were good and she was old so she went to town. I really don’t want to sell this bull as we used him in the heifer pasture this past summer and fall, and he just got better looking, he never lost any weight; but the pasture was really good as well. We could write volumes on his dam and her history here. All her widespread bulls have sold, some into purebred herds, all her daughters retained. We also have retained her Power Up grandson for our own use. A Widespread bull out of a cow like this is just a real sound investment.

A smaller framed middle of March bull calf out a 1st calf heifer that has turned into a nice 2 year old. His full sister born in 2010 only weighed 60lbs. Terms and Conditions

The terms of the sale are cash or cheque, payable at par at the sale location. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement has been made; no invoicing on buyers in attendance, unless previous arrangements have been made. Every animal sells to the highest bidder and in cases of disputes, the auctioneer’s decision will be final. Current exchange rates will be announced sale day. All monies are in Canadian funds.

Bidding:

Each animal will sell to the highest bidder. In the case of a dispute, bidding will be reopened between the parties involved in the dispute. If no further bidding is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision on all disputes will be final.

Announcements:

All announcements made from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue.

Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay close attention to such disclosures.

Breeder’s Guarantee:

Should any bull fourteen (14) months of age or over fail to prove a breeder after being used on females known to be breeders, the matter shall be reported in writing to the seller within six (6) months following the date of purchase or six (6) months after the bull has reached fourteen (14) months of age. The seller will have the right and privilege of six (6) months to prove the bull a breeder. No guarantee is given that semen collected from the bull will freeze.

Liabilities:

All persons attend the sale at their own risk. The seller, facility owner and sale manager assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accidents that occur. It is understood that T Bar C Cattle Co. Ltd. is acting only as a medium between buyer and seller and is not responsible for any failure on the part of either party to live up to his obligations. Neither does T Bar C Cattle Co. Ltd. assume any financial obligations to collect or enforce collection of any monies between parties and any legal action that may in exceptional cases be taken must be between the buyer and the seller. T Bar C Cattle Co. Ltd. assumes no responsibility for any credit extended by the seller to the buyer. The buyer must look to the seller for fulfillment of all guarantees and representations made here under.

Rights & Obligations:

The above terms and conditions of the sale shall constitute a contract between the buyer and seller and be equally binding to both. Resale of animals following purchase in this sale shall constitute a separate transaction and the rights and obligations of the two parties connected thereto are not covered by the terms and conditions of this sale.

Phone, Mail, Wire Bids:

Bidders unable to attend the sale may phone, wire or mail their bids and instructions to the sale managers, auctioneer or special representatives. Bids must be received in sufficient time prior to the sale.

Delivery:

In cases where the animal is subjected to any hormonal or surgical reproduction techniques after the sale, this guarantee shall be null and void.

We will assist in arranging transportation wherever possible. Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold.

Each animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Charolais, Canadian Angus, Canadian Simmental, Canadian Gelbvieh and Canadian Hereford Associations.

A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer for each animal after payment has been made.
