We feel our selection of bloodlines from past years have added to the power in the cow herd. There is a diverse selection of deep bodied powerful made females that make us proud to bring to our sale. Our herd is on a complete vaccination program as listed in this catalogue. The heifers on offer are the kind that will go out and work for you. With the COVID-19 restrictions we encourage all prospective buyers to come by the farm to view the sale offering. We ask that you please give us a call ahead and we will be happy to walk you through the group, or cattle can be viewed at the Ja-Lyn Farms/JP Cattle Co. Sale Facility starting on December 10th. Welcome to Bonchuk Farms Female Sale on December 13, 2020. Please note the location change, due to COVID, the sale will be held at the heated Ja-Lyn Farms/JP Cattle Sale Facility, McAuley, Manitoba. Although the sale location has changed, the program has not, it offers the best and largest group of bred heifers offered throughout this fall sale season. This powerful genetic pool with long services will insure buyers an early return on investment. Over the past decade, working with this progressive family, we have gained a lot of respect for this herd, their breeding goals and enormous “cow sense.” Bonchuk Farms are the largest purebred Simmental herd in Manitoba and in building and establishing the powerful cow herd, they have spared no expense in selecting the kind of herd sires that appeal to their large repeat customer base. When you consider the fact that over one hundred heifers are bred with early service dates, fertility in this herd is of the highest degree. The heifers are the right kind… thick, broody, with tons of hair. Whether you are looking for reds, blacks or full bloods, the genetics are diverse and the quality uniform, making decisions simple as they have taken the guess work out for you. The biggest decision will be, “not which one but how many!” Customer service at Bonchuk Farms is a priority year-round. They are serious about the beef industry and Simmental breed and take a lot of pride in the cattle they market. TERMS The terms of the sale are cash or cheque, payable at par at the sale location. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement has been made; no invoicing on buyers in attendance unless previous arrangements have been made. Every animal sells to the highest bidder and in cases of disputes, the auctioneer’s decision will be final. Announcements from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Current exchange rates will be announced sale day. All monies are in Canadian funds. CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION Each animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Simmental Association. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer for each animal after payment has been made. PEDIGREE ESTIMATES Pedigree Estimates (PE) are created on the projected mating of the animal’s sire and dam based on averages of the two, creating estimated values that do not hold the same accuracy of actual EPDs issued from the association and should be used as such. HEALTH All animals in the sale have met all necessary health requirements.

All animals in this sale will be sold under the terms and guarantees set forth by the Canadian Simmental Association with regards to health, freedom from defects and from both reproductive and specific genetic unsoundness. PREGNANCY INFORMATION All serviceable age females have been pregnancy examined by an accredited veterinarian, giving an estimated length of gestation. This estimated gestation period shall be used only as a guideline to calving and is not a guarantee of actual service. LIABILITIES All persons attend the sale at their own risk. The seller, facility owner and sale manager assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accidents that occur. It is understood that T Bar C Cattle Co. HERD HEALTH All bred cattle received Express 5 before breeding and Total Herd has been on the Express program for over 10 years, making the ranch BVD-free. Bred heifers also received black leg vaccine before breeding. All pregnant cattle have their first shot of Scour-Bos vaccine and treated with Ivomec.
