For the past twentyone years, this sale has been the source of superior seedstock for the Polled Hereford breed. This success is the result of the strength of their cow herds; a leading bull sale each spring confirms the power of these programs!

Over the past year at Blair-Athol, the old guy’s hair has grown whiter and Jeff keeps appreciating his help and the eldest of his girls have achieved many awards through livestock and sports. The 2019 calf crop is the most exciting in history and you will see these results sale day. Over the past year, the Haroldson program captured the coveted Premier Breeder Award again at Agribition, adding to a record that will be hard to surpass. The strength of Chad’s current crop of calves was very dominant at the Southeast Field Day, taking five of the eight bull calf classes. The friends from Manitoba, Manns Polled Herefords and Roselawn Farms add to the strength of this offering. Although this is just Steven’s second year, Wally is a veteran of this sale. They add quality with their own genetic flavor. 2019 offers the strongest and deepest lineup of breeding stock ever offered over twenty-one years. The breds are deep, broody and carry exciting services… services that will add value to any program. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement has been made; no invoicing on buyers in attendance unless previous arrangements have been made. Every animal sells to the highest bidder and in cases of disputes, the auctioneer’s decision will be final. CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION: Each animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Hereford Association. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer for each animal after payment has been made. HEALTH: All animals in the sale have met all necessary health requirements.
