Friends and Fellow Cattlemen: It is with mixed emotions that offer this herd for sale at this time. Much effort has been put into making docile, good milking cows with attractive udders. Performance was always a guide and we have paid attention to carcass traits at the same time. I owe much to my family; my two boys Michael and Paul for helping me, and later from my daughter, Genevieve. To my wife, I owe a prize for her patience and devotion. I will miss the fraternity of Red Angus breeders as we step into our next adventure. The breeding dates are close approximations for the bull breeding while the A.I. dates are actual. The herd is vaccinated pre-breeding with Express 5/Somnugen combination and Dectomax in the fall for parasites.

PREGNANCY INFORMATION: All serviceable age females have been pregnancy examined by an accredited veterinarian, giving an estimated length of gestation. This estimated gestation period shall be used only as a guideline to calving and is not a guarantee of actual service.

We selected Red Lazy MC Redman 47X from Lazy MC Angus, Bassano, Alberta. His mother is a full sister to a donor dam. Redman is stout made, moderate in frame size, very high in milk and all carcass traits. We have found him to be a very easy calving sire with gestation on his calves averaging 5 to 7 days early. Many of the females carry his service.
