INFORMATION AND RULES 1.

Bulls will be sold in the order of catalogue, with the following exceptions:

a) a. The Grand Champions will be sold at the beginning of each breed of the halter sale and the pens of

1, 2 or 3 sale. Each owner has the right to rearrange animals in his own breeding unit..

b) In the pen sales, the entire pen will enter the sale ring and sell choice.

2.

TERMS OF SALE: CASH, DEBIT CARD OR PERSONALIZED BANK CHEQUES only will be accepted.

3.

The contributor shall be allowed one protective bid on the animal contributed by him.

4.

For the 2018 sale, the Committee has established the following minimum starting bids - for any bull two

years old or over - $3,000.00; for any bull one year or over $2,800.00. Bulls that do not receive starting bids as listed will be withdrawn from the sale offering.

All bulls are semen tested, and the buyer will receive the original “satisfactory” Breeding Soundness 5.

Evaluation certificate upon payment of bull.

6.

If any dispute arises between two or more bidders, such dispute shall be settled by the Auctioneer,

whose decision is final.

Immediately after each purchase is declared, the risk of the animal shall be exclusively with the purchaser, 7. and it is declared that until settlement is made the delivery of the animal shall be suspended.

8.

No purchaser may take delivery of animals purchased until they make payment for the animal and obtain

a release slip. The slip must be given to the Barn Supervisor or his helper before delivery can be obtained.

9.

The purchase price on any sale animals must be paid at the conclusion of the sale. If the purchaser fails

to pay such purchase price, the Sale Committee shall have the power to re-sell the animal in question in

any manner and at such time as the Committee deems best, and in the event of a loss arising from such

resale, the purchaser making default shall pay to the Lloydminster Exhibition the amount of such loss,

together with such expense as the Committee may be put to as a result of the purchasers default.

10.

In the case of typographical or other error in the catalogue, the Auctioneer shall announce corrections and

such announcements shall take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are cautioned

to pay attention to Auctioneer’s announcements.

11.

The pictures in the catalogue are provided to the Lloydminster Exhibition by the consignor of the bulls.

12.

All bulls in the sale have been inspected by an independent committee. Every animal has passed

minimum scrotal circumference standards set by the Breed Association or the standards of Western

Canadian Association of Bovine Practitioners. These results are available at the office for any

interested buyer. Every effort to the best ability of the committee is made to assure, that every bull

offered for sale, has satisfactory breeding potential.

13.

All animals have passed a strict inspection prior to the sale and any known defects will be announced by

the Auctioneer at the time of the sale.

14.

It is believed that in selling cattle of this age, the purchaser is more responsible for the future usefulness

of the animal than is the seller.

15.

Every possible precaution will be taken to eliminate from the sale, animals detected to have known defects.

16.

All contributors to the Lloydminster Bull Sale are committed to abide by their Breed Association’s

Breeder’s Guarantee. Individual consignors may provide further guarantees with their offering, by

providing the information to the auctioneer one hour prior to the start of the sale. Buyers are requested

to note any such announcements.

17.

The entire offering will be sold, with no further guarantee by the Sale Committee.

The Association acts as an agent only, and is responsible to the seller only for the proceeds of the 18. sale when received.

19.

Every care will be exercised by the management to prevent injury or loss of property, and to

insure the prompt delivery of animals, by the Association, acting only as a medium between the buyer and

seller, will not be responsible for any loss or damage that may occur, nor for any stock mis-sent,

whether through negligence on the part of its officers or servants or not. Insurance against loss should

be taken out by the owner, if he considers same necessary.

20.

20. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein contained, it is understood that each entrant, by the act

of entry or exhibiting, waives all claims against the Lloydminster Agricultural Exhibition Association Limited, and

or any of the members, officers or agents thereof, for any and all injury, loss or damage which he, his em

ployees, helpers and/or property may sustain arising in any way out of the operations or activities of the said As

sociation, officers, members or agents and indemnifies the said Association, officers, members or agents from

and against any loss or damage, sustained by the said Association by reason of any claims made by any of his

helpers or assistants introduced to or engaged by any entrant through the said Association or any of them or

through their members, officers or agents shall be the sole risk and responsibility of such entrant.
