To us, local means nourishing individuals with food that travels the shortest distance from ground to table. Buying local nourishes the community as well as the local economy. Local is food and food products that are grown, raised, caught, harvested, processed and produced in British Columbia.

Our guiding principles

We only purchase and distribute food and food products that meet our high standards for food safety.

Whenever possible we purchase as close to our facilities to minimize our impact on the environment.

We promote sustainable seafood, the Ocean Wise program and their e orts to create awareness for restaurateurs and consumers.

We support local organizations e orts to promote local dining campaigns to create awareness and encourage communities to dine out.
