Emily Anagnos (she/her) (Helen Potts, Dance Captain) is a sophomore musical theater major from Radnor, PA. She was previously seen as Alisa/Dance Captain in A Rebel Prayer (workshop). She is thrilled to be making her mainstage debut with such a gifted and hardworking cast and crew. Emily is grateful to her family for always encouraging her to follow her dreams. For Elise.


Kai Ayush (he/him) (Alan Seymour) is a junior acting major from Chicago, IL. This is his first mainstage production in the Syracuse University Department of Drama and he is delighted for this opportunity. Prior credits include Han in The World Is Hours (Department of Drama, small scale) and various commercial work with Takis, Boost Mobile, and the U.S. Army.
Sidney Danielle Barbour (she/her) (Millie Owens) is a sophomore acting major from Canton, MA, and is thrilled to make her mainstage debut. Previous credits include Polignac in Marie Antoinette (small scale). Caleb Kenin Elias-Reyes (he/him) (Howard Bevans, Fight Captain) is a junior acting major from Brooklyn, N.Y. Prior credits include u/s George Tesman in Hedda Gabbler (Blackbox). He is incredibly excited and honored to perform in his first Department of Drama mainstage production and would like to thank the amazing cast and crew of the show, as well as his family, girlfriend, friends, peers, instructors, and many more for all their support!

Addelyn Esposito (she/her) (u/s: Millie Owens, Christine Schoenwalder, Irma Kronkite) is a junior musical theater major and finance minor from Clinton, MA. She is so excited to be a part of her second mainstage production in the Syracuse University Department of Drama. Other recent credits include Ensemble in Bernarda Alba (mainstage), Patty Simcox in Grease (Theater at the Mount), and Samantha/Maude in In Sisters We Trust (small-scale). Ellie Everett (she/her) (u/s: Rosemary Sydney) is a sophomore musical theater major from Denver, Colorado. She has been so grateful to be a part of her first mainstage production in the Syracuse University Department of Drama and to collaborate with such an incredible company. She is so grateful for her family, friends, and professors who help her grow every day.
Lucy Foss (she/her) (Flo Owens) is a junior acting major from the San Francisco Bay Area. Last semester she was in the chorus and understudied Eurydike in Antigonick (Department of Drama, mainstage). She is thrilled to be able to be a part of such a great show and work with such an amazing company. She is extremely grateful for all the support she has received from her family, friends, and teachers!

Henry Joyce (he/him) (u/s: Alan Seymour, Howard Bevans, Bomber Gutzel) is a sophomore acting major from the Virginia. He is honored to be making his Department of Drama mainstage debut after appearing in Voices in Verse (Creator, Ensemble) last spring and The Spitfire Grill (The Visitor, u/s: Caleb) in the fall. He can’t thank his friends and family enough for their continued support.

Violet Lanciloti (she/her) (Irma Kronkite, u/s: Flo Owens, Helen Potts) is a junior acting major from Newton, MA. Previous Department of Drama credits: Kit/Jemma in In Sisters We Trust (studio project) and Bertha in Hedda Gabler (studio project). Violet would like to thank her family and friends for all their love and support, and the whole company for making this show great!

Ethan Z Lang (he/him) (Bomber Gutzel, u/s: Hal Carter) is a junior acting major from Sacramento, California. This is his sixth production within the Department of Drama. Prior credits include: Magia (New Works New Voices), Recognition (Black Box Players), Assassins (Black Box Players), Pathways (Black Box Players), and 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Black Box Players). Lily Gianna Nelson (she/her) (Madge Owens) is a sophomore musical theater major from Mesa, Arizona. Syracuse University Department of Drama credits include Percy Talbott in The Spitfire Grill. This is Lily’s first Department of Drama mainstage production. She would like to thank the entire team for the opportunity and her family for their unending support.
Leah Steinman (she/her) (Rosemary Sydney) is a junior acting major on the actor/singer track from Natick, MA. This is her mainstage debut with Syracuse University Department of Drama and is honored to have worked with this fantastic company. Leah is so grateful for the unconditional love and support from her family, friends, teachers, and peers.
Kate Wass (she/her) (Christine Schoenwalder, u/s: Madge Owens) is a junior acting major from Tampa, Florida. This is her second production within the Department of Drama. Harrison M. Wei (he/him) (Hal Carter) is a junior acting major from Concord, Massachusetts and is very excited to be in his first performance role in a mainstage production! Previously in the Department of Drama, Harrison was an understudy and intimacy captain for A Walrus in the Body of a Crocodile (mainstage) and played Joaquin in In Sisters We Trust (student directed, small scale). Laura Hawkes (Scenic Designer) Laura Fine Hawkes’ work broadly encompasses scenic design for theatre, opera, and musical theatre, as well as art direction for live shows, themed visitor experiences, museum exhibits, events, and television programming. She currently serves as Associate Professor of Scenic Design, Head of Design and Technical Theatre, and Chair of the Faculty Senate Executive Committee at Binghamton University. She previously served as Chair of the Performing Arts Department at Santa Fe University of Art and Design in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Theatrical engagements include design for Wolf Trap
Opera, Opera Santa Barbara, Utah Opera, Arizona Opera, Houston Grand Opera’s HGOco, San Francisco Opera Merola Program, Stages Houston, Theatre Under the Stars, Center Theatre Group at The Mark Taper Forum, Big League Productions, The Geffen Playhouse, Catastrophic Theatre, Upstream Theatre, Ensemble Studio Theatre Los Angeles, The Road Theatre, Circle X Theatre, NoHo Arts Ensemble, The Fountain Theatre, and a short film within Cirque du Soleil's Iris production at the Kodak Theatre, among many others. Laura has participated in the development of multiple international large scale live shows and themed visitor experiences. She designed the THEA award-winning Air Force One Discovery Center housed in the Air Force One Pavilion within The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum in Simi Valley, CA. Art Direction for television includes programming for NBC/Bravo, Climate Reality Project, AEG Live, Comedy Central, PBS, and the FUEL Network. Laura is a former assistant and associate of the late scenic designer David Mitchell. She holds an MFA in Scenic Design from UCLA and a BFA in Acting from The College of Santa Fe.
Reyna Sanchez (she/they) (Costume Designer) is a junior theater design and technology major with a concentration in lighting and costume design. Other Department of Drama credits include assisting Bernarda Alba (Department of Drama, mainstage) and Little Women (Department of Drama, mainstage).
Alex Jainchill (Co-Lighting Designer) is a professor of practice of theater design and technology with a focus on lighting design in the Department of Drama. Recent designs have been featured at Playwright Horizons, Manhattan Class Company, Williamstown Theatre Festival, The Geffen Playhouse, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Arena Stage and Cleveland Play House. Jainchill has been the associate lighting director on two Broadway shows: Old Times (American Airlines) and Significant Other (Booth). He was also the associate lighting director on the world premiere of Dear Evan Hansen. Jainchill studied lighting design and visual arts at Rice University and is a member of United Scenic Artists Local 829.
Henry Killbourn (he/him) (Co-Lighting Designer) is a senior theater design and technology major from Orinda, CA. Other mainstage Department of Drama lighting design credits include Bernarda Alba and What The Moon Saw. He would like to thank his family, friends, and mentors for their unwavering support.
Kevin O’Connor (Sound Designer) is currently in his 17th season working for Syracuse Stage and the Syracuse University Department of Drama. He graduated from St. Lawrence University with a B.A. in Music in 2008. Almost all of
Kevin’s Design credits have been with the Department of Drama over the past 13 years, and some of his favorite designs have been; Touched (2024), Dance Nation (2023), In Love And Warcraft (2021), The Baltimore Waltz (2018), Laura and the Sea (2016), Measure for Measure (2015), and Stepping Out (2014). Kevin also created the Sound Designs for; My Robot (2025), Pandora’s Suitcase (2024), Red Riding Hood (2023), The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane (2022), Danny, King of the Basement (2021), and Miss Electricity (2018) for the Syracuse Stage/Department of Drama Bank of America Children’s Tour. Besides Sound Design, Kevin has also worked as the A1 position, controlling the audio console/live mixing, for most of the musicals for both Syracuse Stage and the Department of Drama over the past 16 years. Some of his favorite productions have been; Bernarda Alba, Little Women, Once, Disney ’ s Beauty and The Beast, Elf the Musical, Little Shop of Horrors, Next to Normal, Ring of Fire, Berlin to Broadway, Nine, Avenue Q, Hairspray, Parade and Cabaret. He also feels privileged to have worked as the A1 on the productions of Thoughts of a Colored Man (2019) and How to Dance in Ohio (2022), during their Syracuse Stage runs before they went to Broadway.
Bradley Stone (Choreographer) is a performer, choreographer and educator specializing in musical theatre, dance and fitness. Her professional performance credits include the Broadway revival of Oklahoma! directed by Trevor Nunn and choreographed by Susan Stroman; the first national tours of Pippin (Catherine/assistant dance captain) and Thoroughly Modern Millie; Phantom: The Las Vegas Spectacular; the Las Vegas and Hollywood Bowl productions of Hairspray; the Radio City Christmas Spectacular at the Radio City Music Hall; and the world premiere of Leap of Faith at the Ahmanson Theatre. Additional credits include work with Sacramento Music Circus, Reprise! Theater Company in Los Angeles, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, St. Louis Repertory Theater and LA Opera. Her television appearances include the Today show, the Tony Awards, Late Night with David Letterman and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. In addition to her performance career, Stone is an experienced teacher and choreographer who has taught master classes nationwide as a Broadway Connection instructor. She choreographs for Syracuse University Department of Drama productions and serves as a guest instructor and choreographer for several arts organizations throughout Central New York, focusing on technique, storytelling through movement, performance quality and professional preparation. Stone holds a B.A. in performing arts from Saint Mary’s College of California (L.E.A.P. Program) and an M.A. in arts administration from Le Moyne College. She is a member of Actors’ Equity Association.
Kathleen Baum (Intimacy Choreographer) is an actor, movement coach, intimacy choreographer, and teacher. She has worked at theaters and training programs across the U.S. and internationally in Berlin, London, Toronto, Sao Paolo, Sydney, and Melbourne, among others. She has been on faculty at Emerson College and the National Theater Institute at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, and is currently on faculty in the Syracuse University Department of Drama.
Alec Barbour (Stage Combat) is a Syracuse, N.Y. based actor, intimacy director, fight choreographer, and playwright. He relishes the opportunity to create visceral, authentic moments of violence and intimacy that are thrilling for audiences while being safe and fun for actors. He is a Certified Teacher with the Society of American Fight Directors, and an Intimacy Director with IDC. He received his MFA in Acting at the Hilberry Repertory Theatre at Wayne State University in Detroit. Holly Thuma (Voice/Verse Coach) teaches Voice/Verse in the Syracuse University Department of Drama and is a certified associate teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework. She has served as vocal and dialect coach for many productions in the Department of Drama including Twelfth Night, Top Girls, Violet, To Chekhov with Love for the Edinburgh Festival, Major Barbara, Romeo and Juliet, among others. For Syracuse Stage she was dialect coach for Sense and Sensibility and for Once: The Musical, and vocal coach for Mickey Rowe in The Curious Incident of the
Dog in the Night-Time. Holly’s acting and directing credits include productions with Quantum Theatre, the Dallas Theatre Center, Pittsburgh Irish and Classical Theatre, City Theatre Company where she was a founding member, Perry Mansfield New Play Festival, as well as voice over and independent film.
Amelia Mindlin-Leitner (she/her) (Stage Manager, Intimacy Captain) is a junior stage management major from Greenwood Village, CO, and Bethesda, MD. Other stage management credits include: Little Women (Department of Drama mainstage, assistant stage manager), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Black Box Players, technical & calling stage manager), and Touched (Department of Drama mainstage, assistant stage manager). Outside of Syracuse, she has been the stage manager for Ohio Light Opera’s production of Patience, and the assistant stage manager for their productions of Tip Toes, and Brigadoon She is grateful for the support from her friends, family, peers, and instructors.

Ralph Zito is currently a professor in the Acting Program in the Department of Drama, where he teaches dialects, voice for actors, and Shakespeare Scene Study. He served as chair of the department from 2010 to 2025. He came to Syracuse University from the Juilliard School Drama Division, where he had been a teacher and director from 1992 to 2010 and chair of the Voice and Speech Department since 1999. He was a director and adjunct lecturer in the Barnard College Theater Department from 2006 until 2010 and has been a guest artist at training programs across the country, including the Old Globe in San Diego, The University of Texas at Austin, and the Academy for Classical Acting in Washington, DC. Directing credits for the Department of Drama include: Next Fall, The Spitfire Grill, As You Like It, Gruesome Playground Injuries, and The Aliens. He has served as a voice, text or dialect consultant for numerous professional productions both on and off-Broadway, including: The Light in the Piazza; Awake and Sing!; The Herbal Bed; Mrs. Klein; The Fiery Furnace; The Time of the Cuckoo (Lincoln Center Theatre); Tongue of a Bird; The Merchant of Venice (New York Shakespeare Festival); The Pitchfork Disney (Blue Light Theatre Company); Birdy (The Women’s Project); The Model Apartment (Primary Stages); the New York premiere of Tony Kushner’s SLAVS! (New York Theatre Workshop);
and The African Company Presents Richard III (The Acting Company). His regional theater credits include numerous productions at The Shakespeare Theatre and Arena Stage in Washington, DC; Syracuse Stage; Baltimore CENTERSTAGE; Hartford Stage; and the McCarter Theatre, among others. A former touring member of The Acting Company, he served as artistic associate of The Chautauqua Theatre Company for seven years and was a member of the Board of Directors of The American Society for the Alexander Technique (AmSAT) for six years. He is a graduate of Harvard University, The Juilliard School, and the American Center for the Alexander Technique, and was recently awarded the prestigious Juilliard President’s Medal in recognition of his contributions to both Juilliard and to the broader performing arts community.
William Inge (1913-1973) was an American playwright best known for his plays Come Back, Little Sheba (1950; filmed 1952); Picnic (1953; filmed 1956), for which he won a Pulitzer Prize, and Bus Stop (1955; filmed 1956). Inge was educated at the University of Kansas at Lawrence and at the George Peabody College for Teachers in Nashville, TN. He taught school from 1937 to 1949, also serving as drama editor of the Star-Times in St. Louis, MO, from 1943 to 1946. His first play, Farther Off from Heaven (1947), was produced in Dallas, TX, at the recommendation of Tennessee Williams, to whom Inge had sent the script; 10 years later it was revised for Broadway as The Dark at the Top of the Stairs (filmed 1960). Inge was one of the first American dramatists to deal with the quality of life in the small towns of the Midwest, and he achieved notable success throughout the 1950s. His later plays – A Loss of Roses (1960; filmed as The Stripper, 1963), Natural Affection (1963), Where’s Daddy? (1966), and The Last Pad (1970) – were less successful. Inge received an Academy Award for his original screenplay Splendor in the Grass (1961). His shorter works included Glory in the Flower (1958), To Bobolink, for Her Spirit (1962), The Boy in the Basement (1962), and Bus Riley’s Back in Town (1962).

Hannah Sophia McLaughlin (she/her) (Assistant Costume Designer) is a sophomore fashion design major and drama minor from Boston, MA.
Amanda Podhurst (Assistant Director) is a senior theater management major from Poughkeepsie, New York.

Eleanor Holdridge Off-Broadway productions include world premieres of Selma ’65 (LaMaMa), Steve & Idi (Rattlestick Playwrights Theatre), and Cycling Past The Matterhorn (Clurman Theatre). Regional world premieres include Ken Ludwig’s Lend Me A Soprano, David Grimm’s adaptation of Cyrano de Bergerac, Lauren Gunderson’s The Revolutionists (Cincinnati Playhouse), NNPN Rolling World Premieres of Lauren Gunderson’s Miss Bennett: Christmas at Pemberley and I and You, Meg Maroshnik’s Fickle: A Fancy French Farce, and Caleen Sinnette Jennings’ Queens Girl in the World (Theatre J). She has directed twenty-four of Shakespeare’s plays, some of them multiple times. Recently she directed Ken Ludwig’s Baskerville at the Alley Theatre in Houston. Upcoming directing projects include a workshop of Ken Ludwig’s Napoleon at Pemberly and The Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder at the Olney Theatre in Summer 2026. She holds an MFA from Yale School of Drama.
Part of the College of Visual and Performing Arts, the Syracuse University Department of Drama offers degree programs in acting, musical theater, theater design and technology, stage management, and theater management utilizing conservatory-style training in a university setting and in collaboration with Syracuse Stage.
