ARCHIBALD BED BY POLTRONA FRAU
Poliform is joining the event dedicated to outdoor design in the “green heart” of Milan with the installation “Frames of Beauty” – a narrative on the beauty of design inspired by auteur cinema.
Poliform renews its presence at Open Air Design, the exhibition dedicated to outdoor design taking place from September 18 to 21 in the green spaces of BAM – Biblioteca degli Alberi Milano.
Organized by COIMA Image and curated by MoscaPartners, this project – now in its fifth edition – explores the connection between design, architecture, and art through workshops, talks, artistic performances, and installations open to the public, all set in a natural environment that amplifies inspiration. Since its inception, the Archibald family has been a tremendous success for Poltrona Frau. Designer Jean-Marie Massaud has managed to combine form and substance, achieving a perfect balance thanks to a seat with a comfortable and enveloping design. Today, the Archibald family expands and enters the night area for the first time. The Archibald bed reinterprets the spirit of the collection with refined elegance, conveying a sense of intimacy and warmth despite its bold lines.

Is the self-supporting version of the Cover system, therefore equipped with side panels and back panels, thus creating linear or corner compositions, always custom made. The perfect finish of the back panels and the inside of the doors make Cover freestanding an ideal system also for niche solutions, complete with integrated through way The internal equipments are fixed directly to the uprights, without visible screws, which allows a free and easily adjustment over the time.
The front doors and sides of Cover and Cover freestanding are enhanced by the new Fibra glasses, characterized by a weaving of metal wires that creates a three-dimensional texture. Available in argento and bronzo finishes, they create a play of reflections and semi-transparencies that varies according to light.

The Stellar Dust lighting is composed of countless speckles that seem to float through space. Both optical illusions and the remarkable effects of these crystal components perfectly juxtapose modern interiors. The crystal-clear color and universal round shape add to its versatility.
This collection was originally designed for J&T Bank in Prague by CMC Architects, and designers Václav Mlynář and Jakub Pollág. Its success resulted in this design being adopted for standard production, as an addition to the BOMMA Constellations
