In the heart of Montreal, Marianopolis College recently unveiled the breathtaking transformation of its first-floor library, a project carried out by Groupe SOMR and Montel. This renovation, covering an impressive 5080 square feet, is not just a simple update; it's a complete reinvention of the space, designed with one clear goal in mind: to meet the diverse needs of both current and future students
Community-driven design
The starting point for this ambitious project? The students themselves A special committee, formed within the college, conducted a detailed survey to capture students' expectations of their ideal library Furniture, ambience, access: every detail was designed to align with their specific needs
Spaces redesigned for study and collaboration
The new library now offers personalized study zones, intimate alcoves with seating and storage, and modern study counters, providing a variety of spaces to suit every learning style. Shelves have been replaced by Montel shelving systems, providing direct, easy access to the collections
More than a library, a living space

Production begins with welding robot #2 The first part we've produced is the QS.WFRAME1/18.1140. We now know that the jig is functional. Now we need to make 3 more, so that we have 2 per positioner.

I really like the home interface It's less busy and easier to find your way around. It's a good idea to have removed the dashboard and put it in its own tab, and associating boxes with opportunities seems easier than before I always had trouble doing this with Monet Creating opportunities seems similar, but the interface has been improved. It's a plus to find the lead time sheet directly on Monet.

STORE MORE TARGETED CAMPAIGN
The marketing team is currently putting the finishing touches to a major campaign dedicated to our storage sector! The campaign specifically targets five markets: aviation, automotive, retail, sports and museums. We've designed content tailored to each audience, including an e-mail campaign, a LinkedIn campaign with striking visuals and animated GIFs, and a sponsored post on our LinkedIn page. In addition, we have revised the format of our flagship product brochures to make them more succinct, highlighting the essential benefits. This is one of our biggest targeted campaigns in a long time, with the aim of increasing traffic to our website, growing our fan community and, of course, acquiring new leads!

In June, we were visited by Grow-tec, a company based in Israel, and more specifically by their main project development engineer. The aim was to get to know our product well for an installation to be carried out by them in Spain, and also to discuss some major projects in the indoor cultivation sector.
The first installation with the new High Bay design is underway. Positive feedback from our Authorized Distributor, Library Interiors of Texas, on the progress in Fort Worth, Texas for Texas Christian University - a big thank you to everyone for your involvement in the redesign, sale and installation

In June 2021, the Ukrainian Museum in New York City sought to overhaul its third-floor storage system and enhance its existing fabric hanging rack. The marketing team had the opportunity to visit Scholars' Academy for a photo and video shoot as part of an exciting case study.
Montel donated three GreenRack Mobile and several SmartTrays to the Teens for Food Justice foundation, enabling students to learn about vertical farming
This initiative is important to us, because we want to demonstrate that the integration of an indoor growing system can be simple and accessible “for all”, even for primary and secondary school students
This urban farm produces over 10,000 pounds of food a year, and we look forward to continuing to work with the foundation on future school integrations, to support their mission of giving back to the community and meeting local food needs.
