BENEFITS • The aluminum rail is easy to install, to clean and will not rust. • The wheels are made of glass-filled nylon which offers excellent weight capacity, is rust free and significantly lighter than steel. They are resistant to most chemicals, solvents, gases, acids and steam cleaning, do not absorb water and are made from recyclable and environmentally friendly material. • All bearings are made of stainless steel for superior longevity. • All wheel shafts are made of stainless steel for exceptional corrosion resistance. • Wheel channels are designed to be as simple as possible to optimize reliability and reduce maintenance and rust formation. VISIT FROM MEXICO! Montel had a very special visitor on Wednesday, December 13. Our Mexican AMD, M&I Solutions, was visiting with their customer, the Institut National de Beaux-Arts Littéraires (INBAL). The directors of the institute came to visit our plant as part of the process of obtaining the Chapultepec project.

MEETING FOR QUEBEC INSTALLERS A meeting for Quebec installers was held on Monday, November 20. We welcomed 8 visitors to the conference room of the Montmagny Library, for a total of 15 people, including the Montel team. The day was very enjoyable and full of information that will enable the Quality team to make significant updates and improvements that will have a direct impact on the installers who work hard to build Montel products proudly, day after day.

COMPANY UPDATES HUMAN RESOURCES CHRISTMAS PARTY AT MONTEL The Christmas party for all Montel employees was held on December 15. The 2023 edition was eagerly awaited, with a return to the hall, a buffet formula, a very popular local band, a dance floor, door prizes and the chance to spend some quality time with colleagues. During the evening of the Christmas party, Montel recognized several people for their years of service.

COMPANY UPDATES OPERATIONS FIRST WELDING ROBOT, S17 We are in the process of producing around 21 part models on the S-17 welding robot by the end of January 2024. The aim is to use this robot to produce a minimum of 1 shift at all times, by the end of January 2024.
ACQUISITION OF A 2ND WELDING ROBOT, S18 Welding is one of the bottlenecks in production. To solve this problem, we have acquired a second welding robot. Installation will be completed by the end of January 2024. This equipment will enable us to weld panel doors and frames.
MONTEL - 2 To support our manufacturing operations, we have decided to relocate production units to Montel-2. The production units to be relocated will be: Saw Department (Sheet Metal), Mobilex and Trolley Assembly, Machining. We're giving ourselves 3 months from January 2024 to make these moves. Here's a very preliminary layout. The Kaizens began on Friday, December 1, with the saw department.
