Percussion Addendum
Hand Drum (Perc. 1): Native American style (Deer or Cow skin, or similar drum) Played with a hard mallet for minimal reverb.
Marching Bass Drum (Perc. 1 & 2 & 4): Similar to the bass drum of a drumset. Muffle for minimal reverb.
Cabasa with Stick (Perc. 4): Hold the cabasa firmly by the steel ball chains, positioning the instrument horizontally. Strike the steel ball surface with a drumstick, adjusting force and speed to control dynamics. This method ensures dry, precise articulation and allows for a broad dynamic range.
