My name is Syahrul Hidayatullah, also known as Syahrul. I am a 20 years old student and currently stay in Surabaya.

I always interested to try and learn new things, since I’m a big fan of distinctive and unordinary things.

Thus I believe that everyone has its own character.

Wooden Succulent Vase This vase is made from pine wood and meranti wood which can deliver two different natural colors.

I’ve made three vases so it can be a product series with various styles.

3D Printing Portable Speaker a 3D Portable speaker which made from 3D printing process and combined with pine wood and also blue jeans as its cover.

Ideation My concept was to make a speaker that is easy to carry everywhere. Then I look for the appropriate shape for a speaker that looked minimalist yet elegant and also has an outdoor spirit.

LATHI GENI

Adventure Knife

Lathi Geni is an adventure knife which made from Sonokeling wood that can give a natural dark color and then combined with a stainless stell.

MOOD BOARD

Ideation My initial concept is to make a adventure knife that is easy to use and has a comfortable grip. So I made some alternative handles with cork and put the most comfortable shape based on the survey I have done to the potential users.

Prototyping Process

The knife is made by cutting and grinding the stainless steel into the most proportional shape and also by cutting and shaping the wood to make the handle part of the knife.

MALOLO CHAIR Lounge Chair This chair is a lounge chair which was originally made from wood and resin combined with fiber.

To make this chair we use woodworking techniques that’s called as "bubut" and also we use resin and fiber to make the backrest and seat holder.

Final Result

Problem Every household almost certainly has outdoor equipment such as shoes, coats, helmets or umbrellas but oftenly they are often placed in the wrong place thus most of the people oftenly had a problem to find their equipment when they are about to use it.

Storio is a storage to keep outdoor equipment such as shoes, umbrella, helmet, and raincoat.

It has a small seat to help user to wear shoes and it is also equipped with desk and mini mirror for personal purposes.

ANIWOODY Modular Wooden Toys

Aniwoody is an animal-shaped puzzle toy for children.

This toy is made from balsa wood material which is shaped using laser cutting technique.
