INGREDIENTS

2 1/2 cups of flour, sifted. 2 tablespoons of sugar. 3 teaspoons of baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon of salt. 1 egg. 1 tablespoon of butter, melted. 1 12 oz. can of Sprite.

DIRECTIONS

Preheat the oven to 350°. Grease a bread pan with butter or nonstick spray. In a bowl mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, egg, and Sprite. Transfer to the dough to the bread pan. Pour the butter on top of the dough to produce a tender golden crust. Bake for around 45 minutes or until fully baked inside. You can use a toothpick to ensure it is baked by inserting and removing with no residue. Remove the bread from the pan and let sit for 15 minutes before serving.
