NEW OPERATORS FOR FRESHBROOK SHOP One of West Swindon's village centre shops has been taken over. Freshway Stores, formerly run by the Swindon firm of Richardson and Rabbetts, is now under the management of JCR News and Foods of Bath. JCR itself is part of the Johnsons Group, the fourth largest operators of convenience stores in Britain. The Freshbrook - shop becomes one of nearly forty convenience stores in the JCR chain - in the south-west. Managing Director Mr. Nick Shaw commented that no major changes in appearance are planned immediately. "Most of our shops are newly opened, Freshways has been going four years, so we have to spend some time getting used to running a store with a much higher turnover. But we are improving the range of products on offer and increasing out opening hours to offer a better service to our
