Thank you Swindon Fourteen year old Maseterata Niapho has only a vague idea where Swindon is and not a clue that it has a football team pressing for promotion. He has no parents and lives with his 17 year old brother in one of the worst shacks in the township of Clarens in South Africa: the two boys struggle on a daily basis for food. But Maseterata was absolutely thrilled in December to be given clothes sent outto Dihlabeng Christian School by Peatmoor School and Swindon Family Church. He was also delighted to be given a bicycle donated by a Swindon family. The staff at Dihlabeng are trying to find sponsorship for Maseterata to cover the £15 a month school fees and to clothe and feed him. He is currently on the school feeding programme which ensures he has a maize meal on a school day with added vitamins and supplements.
