The City Transit System, ridgerunner Transit, is currently operating three inner city bus routes and one county route. Brochures with maps and timetables are available at City Hall as well as on all buses. Additionally information can be obtained on our website at www.ci.ridgecrest.ca.us. All routes run Monday through Friday starting at City Hall on the top of the hour from 7:00 am to 11:00 11 am and then they continue operation at 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm. The City routes have a total of thirty-o one (31) stops throughout Ridgecrest and have been planned to accommodate our clientele based on past Dial-A Ride ridership. Future changes to bus stops and timetables will be based on current and future ridership as well as community input. Our County Route has seven (7) stops that begin in Inyokern and end at Buttermilk Market.

County residents may request transportation as they have in the past along with the additional benefit of catching the bus, without prior reservation, at the new stops along the route. The County line also provides transportation on &ƌŝĚĂLJƐ͛ for citizens of Johannesburg and Ransburg. It is the desire of ridgerunner Transit to provide safe transportation which not only fits your budget but is both practical and timely. Transit ransit The City Transit System, ridgerunner Transit, is currently operating three inner city bus routes and one county route. Brochures with maps and timetables are available at City Hall as well as on all buses. Additionally information can be obtained on our website at www.ci.ridgecrest.ca.us. All routes run Monday through Friday starting at City Hall on the top of the hour from 7:00 am to 11:00 11 am and then they continue operation at 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm. The City routes have a total of thirty-o one (31) stops throughout Ridgecrest and have been planned to accommodate our clientele based on past Dial-A Ride ridership. Future changes to bus stops and timetables will be based on current and future ridership as well as community input. Our County Route has seven (7) stops that begin in Inyokern and end at Buttermilk Market.

County residents may request transportation as they have in the past along with the additional benefit of catching the bus, without prior reservation, at the new stops along the route. The County line also provides transportation on &ƌŝĚĂLJƐ͛ for citizens of Johannesburg and Ransburg.
