CITY COUNCIL Why I am running for Ridgecrest City Council 1. PROTECT current Term Limit law from current City Council that plans to diminish or eliminate it. 2. CANCEL the city's use of Placer AI citizen tracking. 3. ESTABLISH regular informal Town Halls to get ideas and inputs from the people of Ridgecrest. 4. INCREASE transparency of city business. City NEEDS new leadership. MY TOP PRIORITIES: Stop current Mayor and Council who want to diminish or even eliminate Ridgecrest’s current Term Limit Law, POLICE, FIRE SERVICE, CRIME PREVENTION: The city needs to provide a SAFE AND SECURE city for us to live in. We should increase our funding for police to protect the public. If I am elected there will be NO cuts to number of Ridgecrest police officers or to the Police Dept. Roads, Infrastructure, Water, Pinney Pool: Our roads are in constant need of repair. Our sewer plant is in need of replacement. Water overdraft needs to be stopped ASAP. TRANSPARENCY: STOP backroom decisions. STOP negotiations behind closed doors. ENCOURAGE back/ forth dialog between council and the public when questions asked.
