Because of the possibility of Covid-19 shutdowns, we are not seeking licences for movies until closer to the time. Be assured, though, that if we are able, we will bring you a delightful movie in August. The SwanCare bus will begin its rounds at 6pm and take you home after the movie. Watch out for a leaflet in your letterbox with full details!

Would you like to do a little exercise in the morning? We are not a club as such, just a gathering of people who have become friends but we would love to greet some new faces. The session only takes 25 minutes finishing with a friendly tea or coffee and natter.
Anyone for chess? There is no better brain exercise than a game of Chess. Enjoyable too! Beginners, “rusty” old players, and experts all welcome.

SWAN VILLAGE BOWLING CLUB Despite the wet weather during the past month the club has had good attendances on most bowling days. Members are reminded our next gala day is Wednesday the 8th of September and the club’s AGM is scheduled for Thursday 9th of September commencing at 10am in the Pavilion. Details of both events will be posted on the club notice board in the next few days. Nomination forms for the committee will also be on the notice board, and members are encouraged to nominate for the committee. Another important date to note on your calendar is the 2nd of December for our Christmas lunch at the RAAFA Airforce restaurant in Bullcreek.

SwanCare Allsorts Choir Concert Inviting all SwanCare residents to join our very own Bentley Park Allsorts Choir in a heart-warming singalong. Doors open 1:30pm. Afternoon tea provided. The Social Club Committee coordinates the primary social activities for residents of Bentley Park. Committee Member positions are vacant and if elected stand for a term of 12 months. SOCIAL DANCE Our July dance was a good, fun evening. Thank you to all the people who braved a wet, cold evening to join us. We soon warmed up doing 9 line dances and 12 others. The evening is very inclusive. Dances are led and easy to follow. We enjoyed a delicious supper with tea and coffee. A big thank you to everyone who makes this evening possible.
