Burswood/Bentley Trefoil welcomes Girl Guides to join in the conversation and events. We will not be meeting in December or January, recommencing 3rd of February.
In December the movie is ‘A Christmas Carol’. This musical stars Kelsey Grammer, Jesse L. Martin, Jane Krakowski, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Geraldine Chaplin & Jason Alexander. An old bitter miser is given a chance for redemption when he is haunted by ghosts on Christmas Eve. This is an excellent adaptation of Charles Dickens’s classic tale.

GARDENS INTEREST GROUP
Interested in writing your life story, telling others about the wonderful holiday you had or the marvellous classes you have joined? Why not practice with others doing the same thing, while supporting each other and providing tips to write stories, poems and articles in a way that others enjoy reading. The SwanCare Writing Group will start again towards the end of February 2021 and you are invited to join us in a fortnightly class which provides humour and self-satisfaction. HEART FOUNDATION WALKING GROUP Residents of Rowethorpe and Bentley Park are welcome to join us for a 30 minute walk. We start at 7.30am every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday morning. The walks are free to join and are followed by tea and coffee and a chat. A great way to make new friends! Walk at your own pace. Some stride it out while others go along at a more leisurely pace or use walking frames.

Another year almost gone! It’s been a mixed-up year, but we managed even if we had to do our dancing on the balcony and limited numbers for a while. We now have a new format, the usual session at 9.30am for 30 mins. We then break for morning tea and have a more advanced class at 11.00am. Our November social dance (our 30th to date) was a good, fun evening. The evening consisted of twenty-three dances, mostly line dances. Our next dance will be 3rd Feb 2021 - date to be re-confirmed.
When: 9.30am Mondays & 11.00am for advanced class. Christmas Carols Event Residents and their families are invited to a free Christmas Party and Carol Concert featuring the SwanCare Allsorts Choir. The audience will be seated at tables with members of the choir when they are not on the stage and everyone will be welcome to join in the singing.
