WRITING CLUB Join us for a morning of writing! Ensure you bring all of your writing essentials including notepad, pen, and imagination.

HEART FOUNDATION WALKING GROUP Residents of Rowethorpe and Bentley Park are welcome to join us for a 30 minute walk. We start at 7.30am every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings. The walks are free to join and are followed by tea and coffee and a chat. A great way to make new friends! Walk at your own pace. Some stride it out while others go along at a more leisurely pace or use walking frames.

FISH ‘N’ CHIPS ON STRATTON The March luncheon will be on Friday 6th March with the “Heart and Soul” entertainers. We will be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day so remember to wear something green!

The VRAC speaker for the March 17th Coffee Morning will be Mick Harrison, who will talk about the new maintenance request system. We are also hoping that Ashleigh can give us a Leisure Centre update and Adrian from Curtin can talk about fitness programs.

March 12th will be our first social lunch day and 21st March will be our first gala day. As we do not currently have an official notice board, information of both functions will be placed on the notice board at the administration foyer and at the club rooms at the rink.

The VRAC has also re-instated the extra longer-session talks and the first will be on Friday 13th March, when a speaker from the Town of Victoria Park will talk about Art and the Town of Victoria Park. These extra talks will be at the Swan Centre.

INDOOR CARPET BOWLS

A new era is about to come to fruition for the Handicraft Group. By the time residents receive the March activities Calendar the group will have been relocated to the Leisure Precinct. Many wonderful memories and friendships have been formed since the group commenced some 50 years ago. The craft group hold two fair days annually and all the monies raised from these events goes towards the care facilities. We hope to continue with these after the move.

New members are always welcome. Have a go, it’s fun!

SWANCARE ALLSORTS CHOIR

A book club has been established within the Village and we welcome new members. Lively discussions are guaranteed.
