HANDICRAFT

MAHJONG CLUB Never played it?? Then “give it a go”! It’s fascinating, fun & friendly.

New players are always welcome. Don’t worry if you’ve never played before. Come along for an enjoyable, social evening. Please be there by 6.00pm.

All new and old residents are welcome to join us for a cuppa and chat. We meet to enjoy doing our own craft or working towards making goods for our stalls. These funds go towards raising money for extras not in the budget and for the comfort of residents in our three care facilities. Our next stall is in November.

BENTLEY PARK BOWLING CLUB

CHOIR

Any new residents who may like to bowl out of the weather are most welcome to join us.

All are working very hard practicing our singing and learning to sing together. I think the Choir is at full capacity now, although we can always use more tenors. Remembering the words to the songs is quite difficult but we are all managing quite well. Everyone is enjoying singing in our new venue the Auditorium with many thanks to Laurie Hudson.

COMPUTER CLUB

Situated in an air-conditioned room our volunteer staff are there to help our members with any computer problems. We have now converted three computers to Windows 10, join us to get answers on any questions you have on Windows 10, or anything relating to computers, printers or internet.

LADIES OF THE NIGHT PATCHWORK GROUP

We cater for sight impaired members and have special adapted keyboards for their use, our facilitators are trained to assist, call in to check us out.

A fun day out and lovely lunch for $10. Even if you don’t wish to gamble, it’s nice to be out and about with friends. Keep an eye out in the foyer of the auditorium building for our trip sheet and add your name, if you intend going. Please note we need 25 people to be eligible for the casino bus with the $10 plan. So if you are unable to join us on the actual day, please call me so I can find replacements. Thank you for your consideration with this.
