You and your friends will enjoy an IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE AND A PIECE OF HISTORY with an after hours private tour of SUN RECORDING STUDIO provided by Sam Phillips’ son, Jerry Phillips, a tour of GRACELAND and a tour of STAX RECORDS MUSEUM. Experience the INTIMATE COCKTAIL PARTY hosted by Pat Kerr Tigrett in her Penthouse overlooking the Mississippi River. She is the creator of numerous fund raising events in Memphis and founder of the famous Blues Ball. Arguably, the best part of this package is a very RARE PROMOTIONAL RECORD of “THAT’S ALL RIGHT” in the original ‘brown sleeve’ used for radio promotion copies only. The 45 record is in mint condition and has never been played. In just two short years, Sam found Elvis Presley. From “Blue Suede Shoes” to “That’s Alright”, the Elvis sound is iconic and a part of the music lexicon that we all know and love. Cecil Scaife was the first National Sales and Promotion Manager for Sun Records and Sam Phillips sent him on the road with Elvis to promote the new record. This is one from the original box from an incredible time in music history.
