Kimber Scholarship Program Are you or your child a high school senior looking for scholarships to help pay for college? We may be able to help! We are currently accepting applications for the Daniel J. Kimber Scholarship program until March 16th. Three high school seniors who are the primary member on a SWACU savings account, have a GPA of 2.75 or higher, and will be attending as a freshman at an accredited college, junior college, or university in the fall of 2020 may complete an application and essay to be considered for one of three $2,000 scholarships. Applications are located at www.swacu.org/scholarship and will be accepted until Monday, March 16th. ...the holidays, I am always reminded of how blessed I am to have amazing family and friends, live in a great country, and work for a fantastic credit union with an exceptional staff. There is no doubt we have the best members as well and I personally cannot wait to celebrate our 45th birthday in 2020! We plan to celebrate in a big way all year spotlighting special members and the SWACU staff that serves them (#mySWACUstory). Later in this newsletter you will meet our Dallas member, Peter, who will share how he has developed a special relationship with our Call Center Manager, Niles. In addition to 2020 being a BIG birthday year, we are currently highlighting our Holiday Skip-A-Pay program that runs through January 31st, 2020, our member referral campaign, and Signature Loans for Bill Consolidation to help lower your payments after all that holiday spending. CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS FOR 2019 SWACU supports many charities such as Ronald McDonald House, Salvation Army, American Red Cross, Kidd’s Kids, and Make-A-Wish Foundation. These charities are chosen based upon mutual mission alignment with SWACU and Southwest Airlines culture. We have donated over $29,833 to these charities over the course of 2019.
