THE SWACU NEWSLETTER GROUP SPRING 2020

DURING THE UNCERTAIN TIMES WE ARE EXPERIENCING, I WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT SOUTHWEST AIRLINES FEDERAL CREDIT UNION IS HERE FOR YOU. WE HAVE WEATHERED MANY STORMS AND ENDURED DIFFICULT TIMES IN OUR COUNTRY OVER OUR 45 YEARS. WE ARE STRONG AND SO ARE YOU! Over the past few weeks, we have taken dramatic steps to do our part to follow CDC and local government guidelines while still serving YOU, our valued members. We have closed our lobbies and transitioned 90% of our staff home to work remotely. So far, this is working great and our staff is finding new ways to help members every single day. Do not hesitate to reach out to us by phone or electronically. We want to continue to interact with our members as often as you need us. You are why we are here, and we can’t do our jobs without you. I heard it

said recently that instead of social distancing, we should call it physical distancing and remain as social as we can through new avenues. We need each other! For the latest SWACU Response to COVID-19 Virus information, visit swacu.org/CoronaInfo. We are adding new information daily and have many resources for you there. Additionally, we are regularly updating our Frequently Asked Questions section on this page to reflect areas of concern or confusion we are hearing from our members. We will do what we can to help each member affected by this unprecedented time in our nation. We are in the PEOPLE business and that does not change during a crisis like this. In fact, has only enhanced our focus on people. We hope you will join with us at being patient and flexible while we work through adjustments in our temporary way of conducting business. As I also shared with our employees last week, you are important to us. While we are sad we can’t be together as a SWACU community/family right now, we will be together again soon. Let’s do our part to help our country overcome this virus threat! We look forward to the time when we can celebrate that life is back to normal and we’re all under one roof again, serving our members. Until then, we’re here for you!
