At SWACU we are in another season of ANTICIPATION. We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of our new CORE operating system. As I’ve shared in the past, we have been working on this project to upgrade our system for nearly two years and at the end of this quarter, the time will have finally arrived to GO LIVE! We cannot wait to have this huge project behind us and to also begin experiencing the benefits of our hard work as a SWACU team over these last couple of years. WE’RE STRENGTHENING OUR CORE TO SERVE YOU BETTER Everything You Need to Know about SWACU’s System Upgrade We are excited to announce that we will be upgrading our core computer system starting at 5:00 pm, Thursday March 31, 2022! This new and updated system will help us enhance efficiency, meet long-term growth objectives, and provide a better banking experience for you. Please look over the information provided below and make note of anything you may want to do to ensure a smooth transition. Call, click or drop by if you have any questions or concerns – we’re here to help. Thank you for allowing us to serve you!

BEFORE F Note the System Upgrade Dates on Your Calendar. The branches and all digital services will be closed and unavailable Friday, April 1st through Sunday, April 3rd.

F Schedule All Bill Payments or Transfers on homebanking by Wednesday, March 30th.

Your payments will be processed as scheduled through March 31st.

However, you’ll be unable to schedule, modify or check the status of any payments during the system upgrade, from 5:00 pm Thursday, March 31st – Sunday, April 3rd.

F Get a SWACU VISA® Debit Card. If you don’t have a SWACU VISA® Debit Card, sign up for one now so you can access your money 24/7, even during the system upgrade.

F Update your contact information. If you’ve moved, changed email accounts, or have a new phone number, please call us at 800-262-5325 to update your information.

F Safety and Security. Your personal data and account information will stay secure and insured, as always.

F Debit and Credit Cards. SWACU Credit and Debit Cards will work as usual.

F Direct Deposit. All direct deposits and ACH payments will be credited as usual.

F ATMs. SWACU ATMs will work but you will not be able to perform balance inquiries. You can also access your money using one of our 55,000 nationwide surcharge-free ATMs.

F Improvements to our core system will mean faster member service. Many of our manual processes will now be automated, which means better service for our members.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS We are now accepting scholarships for the 2022 Daniel J. Kimber Scholarship Program.

Application submissions will be accepted beginning January 1st, 2022 through March 18th, 2022. Three scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $2,000 each to graduates who plan to continue their education at an accredited college, junior college or university no later than the Fall 2022 session. Please note: Winners will be contacted by May 5th and will be announced on social media and in the 3rd Quarter Newsletter.
