Former NASA astronaut Dr. Donald Thomas inspired students with space exploration insights, while Chairman Dr. Harish Mirchandani brought immense honor to SVIS by receiving both the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Ignited Mind Chairperson’s Award and the Dada J. P. Vaswani Award. Student Shivaji set a World Record in table recitation, earning special congratulations from Cyberabad's Police Commissioner. The month concluded on a joyful note with energetic performances at the "Twinkle Toes" dance competition and a patriotic assembly celebrating India’s 80th Independence Day. YELLOW DAY The colour yellow symbolises sunshine, happiness and positivity. The Pre-Primary students of Sadhu Vaswani International School celebrated Yellow Colour Day with great enthusiasm. Dressed in vibrant yellow, children enjoyed poems, rhymes, art & craft and a delightful ramp walk. Bright yellow objects like sunflowers, bees and mangoes added charm. BONALU Sadhu Vaswani International School celebrated the spirit of the upcoming Bonalu festival through a special morning assembly, highlighting the rich cultural heritage of Telangana. The programme featured a meaningful Burrakatha on the significance of Bonalu and an energetic devotional dance dedicated to Goddess Mahankali. The assembly concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving students with a deeper appreciation for Telangana's vibrant traditions and culture.
Special Assembly on Milad-un-Nabi Sadhu Vaswani International School celebrated Milad-un-Nabi through a meaningful programme organised by Mahatma Gandhi House. The celebration featured a Thought for the Day, an inspiring speech, a soulful Qawwali, and a creative skit highlighting the values of kindness, compassion, forgiveness, and peace. The programme concluded with the Principal’s Address, inspiring students to practise these noble values in their daily lives.
National Librarian’s Day National Librarian’s Day Celebration Our school celebrated National Librarian’s Day with enthusiasm to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. S. R. Ranganathan, the Father of Library Science in India. The programme began with a prayer and thought for the day, followed by presentations by Grade 9 students on different types of libraries—School, Academic, Public, Special and Digital. The presentations highlighted how libraries promote reading, learning, exploration and lifelong knowledge. In her address, Principal Ma’am emphasised the importance of reading books in today’s digital world, encouraging students to cultivate the habit of reading and make the library an integral part of their learning journey. The celebration concluded with a note of gratitude to librarians and a reminder to Read, Explore, Learn and Grow.

Solo Dance Competition Twinkle Toes – Solo Dance Competition The “Twinkle Toes – Solo Dance Competition” was a vibrant celebration of talent, rhythm and confidence. Our little dancers from Grade 1 showcased Western Dance, while Grade 2 enthralled everyone with their colourful Folk-Dance performances. Each child performed with enthusiasm, grace and confidence, bringing the stage to life with their energy and expressions. Our beloved Principal Ma’am, encouraged the young performers with her warm words of appreciation and applauded their wonderful efforts. The event was a delightful showcase of our little stars’ creativity, confidence and love for dance.
Raksha Bandhan On 27th August, the enthusiastic students of Grades 1 and 2 of Mahatma Gandhi House presented a special assembly on “Raksha Bandhan”, celebrating the values of unity, friendship, love and togetherness. The assembly began with a prayer, followed by a thought and a speech highlighting the importance of staying united. A lively skit beautifully conveyed the message of cooperation and harmony, while a colourful dance performance added joy and energy to the celebration. Our Principal, Ms. Arpitha Grandhi spoke about the significance and symbolism of Raksha Bandhan, highlighting the values of love, care, protection and togetherness. She appreciated the sincere efforts and confident performances of the students. The assembly concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, leaving everyone with a beautiful message of love, unity and togetherness.
National Sports Day On August 29, National Sports Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Sadhu Vaswani International School. The celebration featured a 1 km run, encouraging students to embrace physical fitness, discipline, and sportsmanship. The event began with our respected Principal, along with the PE Department, leading the gathering in taking the Fit India Pledge, encouraging everyone to dedicate at least 30 minutes each day to physical activity and adopt a healthier lifestyle. The celebration paid tribute to the extraordinary legacy of Major Dhyan Chand while inspiring students to make fitness and an active lifestyle a part of their daily routine.
Academic Exhibition – Grades 3,4 & 5 Academic Exhibition – Grades 3,4 & 5 The Academic Exhibition for Grades 3,4 and 5 was a vibrant showcase of knowledge, creativity, and innovation. Our young learners enthusiastically presented their projects, models, and interactive activities, demonstrating their understanding beyond the classroom. The exhibition provided students with an enriching platform to explore ideas, apply their learning, work collaboratively, and express themselves with confidence. Their creativity, curiosity, and thoughtful presentations truly reflected the joy of learning. It was truly inspiring to see our young learners explore, create, and share their knowledge with such enthusiasm. The exhibition was a memorable experience that beautifully demonstrated that learning becomes meaningful when knowledge is combined with creativity and action.

A Record-Breaking Achievement! Kudos to Sivaji for making our school proud by creating a World Record for reciting multiplication tables in reverse order in just 8 minutes 13 seconds! His exceptional feat has earned him recognition in the International Book of Records. Pride of SVIS! | Excellence Beyond Limits! We are delighted to share the remarkable achievement of our student, Shivaji, who has made the school proud by creating a World Record for reciting multiplication tables in reverse order. Shivaji demonstrated exceptional memory, concentration and confidence by reciting the multiplication tables in reverse sequence within an impressive 8 minutes and 13 seconds. His outstanding performance earned him recognition in the International Book of Records. Recognising this remarkable accomplishment, Cyberabad Police Commissioner Shri V. C. Sajjanar personally congratulated and felicitated Shivaji at the Commissioner’s Office. This achievement is a testament to Shivaji’s dedication, perseverance and extraordinary talent. We are immensely proud of his accomplishment and wish him continued success in all his future endeavours. Congratulations, Shivaji! Keep inspiring us with your incredible achievements!

Reaching for the Stars with Dr. Donald Thomas A Star Is Coming to Our School! We are thrilled to welcome NASA Astronaut Dr. Don Thomas to Sadhu Vaswani International School! Our students are all set for an inspiring encounter with a real-life space explorer— an opportunity to learn, dream bigger, and reach for the stars. Sadhu Vaswani International School was privileged to host Dr. Donald Thomas, renowned NASA astronaut, for an inspiring and memorable session with our students. His visit offered students a wonderful opportunity to interact with a distinguished personality and gain insights into the world of space exploration. Dr. Thomas shared fascinating experiences from his journey as an astronaut, inspiring students to dream big, remain curious, and pursue their aspirations with dedication and perseverance. The engaging interaction and Question & Answer session left our students motivated and enriched. It was indeed a memorable and enriching experience for the entire school community.
