Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. Jeremiah 29:12
Faith is what sets St. Vincent de Paul apart. We help
neighbors meet not only their basic needs but also their spiritual needs: a loving community, the hope for a brighter future, someone to pray for you. Your generosity sustains basic needs assistance throughout the year. Now, as Christmas approaches, we invite you to lift up our neighbors spiritually and emotionally through the gift of prayer. The prayers in this booklet were submitted by neighbors whom St. Vincent de Paul has served. They represent the hardships, dreams, and joys of this challenging year. Thank you for praying for and with our neighbors in need this Christmas season.
Give me strength to keep going. As I get in my new home, keep us safe from all harm. Forgive me if I have harmed my children while trying to get away from he who hurt us. Heal my body so I can be the best mom.
Just would like prayers for guidance and strength. I lost my son and feel like the world is just crashing down on me. I don’t have anyone to help or talk to.
For my family and 9 other families that were displaced. I ask for my family to find a new home asap and for my family and others to find normalcy in all of this.
Please pray for our school that the kids and teachers can be healthy. Please pray for us that we can continue to have enough to help the family that lives across the street from us.
My Lord Jesus : I humbly ask you to have mercy on your daughter MarĂa and give her complete health. If it is according to your will God, may this disease never return. Bless my marriage and my family every day. I glorify and I bless you. My dear Lord, Amen.
I pray that God himself will be the strength of the weak and the virtue of the strong and the prayer of those who are unable to pray. — St. Vincent de Paul
