O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good and His loving kindness is everlasting. – Psalm 107:1
Our prayer request box, located in the chapel
at the Neyer Outreach Center, receives daily requests from anyone seeking to lift up their thoughts, wishes or concerns in prayer. Some are written by neighbors, before or after they access our services. Others come from co-workers, volunteers or friends, who stop by the chapel for a quiet moment of reflection. In sharing these prayers, we are reminded of the basic needs that connect us all. Beyond our physical needs like food, shelter, and clothing, we are all joined together by our essential needs for safety, love, security, and the capacity to dream. We invite you to join us in faith and hope this Christmas by reading through this booklet and lifting up our neighbors in prayer. We will be praying for you, too.
Please pray for me so I can move into a safe new home and get a safe reliable car to drive. Also pray that I start the family and foundation I want and get the dream jobs I have envisioned. I’ve been homeless.
Prayers for the world. For anyone who lost someone due to gun violence. Amen. Please pray that God mends my relationship with my family. Also that he brings my daughters and I closer.
To my FatherThank you for all the guides you have shown me. Please look over my family and KEEP us safe. Amen
For financial stability, a beautiful and safe home, stable job. Remove negativity out of our lives. My son is having mental issues. I pray he doesn’t hurt himself or someone else. Please pray for strength and LOVE for him.
God Bless my family, my son needs a kidney. Please pray for his health for me. I know God is good. Jesus is Christ!!! I just want to be happy and healthy for my family. Prayer is needed for protection and love and grace forever.
Please pray for protection around my children as they have been attacked by children that may not know what they are doing. Please pray for protection around my home as it has become violent. Pray for faith, love, and also for me to keep faith.
We give thanks to God always for all of you, remembering you in our prayers, unceasingly calling to mind your work of faith and labor of love and endurance in hope. – 1 Thessalonians 1:2-3
