Upper School Review
She is a member of the Beta club and has been named to the headmaster’s list every grading period. Allie also plays varsity softball and basketball for the Rebels, and is a valuable contributor to both programs. When asked what her favorite thing about attending TRA was, she said, “The atmosphere at TRA is very welcoming. My favorite memory is meeting my best friend, Kayla, and competing in the softball state playoffs.” Allie is looking forward to making many more great memories at TRA! One staff member had this to say about why they chose Allie to be the February Student of the Month, “She always works hard at everything she does, especially in the classroom, all while juggling multiple sports.” Well done, Allie, we are so proud of you!
Mrs. Jenny Vego’s sophomore World History classes welcomed a guest speaker this week, former TRA faculty member and head football coach, Collin Pinner. Coach Pinner studied history in college and had the opportunity to do a European study abroad term focusing on the Holocaust. He spoke to students about the realities of that period in history, and the impact seeing those historical sites in person had on his perspective regarding the Holocaust. We are grateful to Coach Pinner for taking the time to come and share such valuable information with our students. The relationships we have with stakeholders and those within the community are one of the many strengths about our academic program. Because of their willingness to spend time sharing valuable information and experiences with our students, we are blessed to have the opportunity to further enrich the academic experience provided to our students.
