Lures
A successful IPM program utilizes monitoring as an important diagnostic and timing tool. Suterra lures are an essential aspect of creating an accurate and reliable monitoring program.
The BioLure®, Suterra’s exclusive line of lures, was developed in-house taking real world applications into account. The BioLure® uses Suterra’s proprietary passive release technology ensuring long lasting lure attractiveness. Adhesive backing allows the BioLure® to easily adhere to the side wall or roof of the trap. Thanks to the unique ability to position the lure, it does not interfere with routine trap servicing. The lack of interference reduces the risk of cross contamination generating more reliable and accurate captures. The BioLure® is not activated until the user removes the front peel-off cover. This feature eliminates contact with the active substrate during deployment.
Suterra septa lures integrate Suterra’s unparalleled focus on quality with a tried and true lure design. Each septa lure is individually sealed for freshness. This traditional lure design is easy to use and a reliable component of a grower’s monitoring program.

Mating Disruption
Pests can pose many challenges to hard-working growers. They not only damage the crop, reducing yield, but pests can carry viruses and diseases that can cause long-term adverse impacts. Suterra’s products utilize the pests’ natural pheromones to disrupt their ability to find mates and reproduce. Suterra mating disruption products not only control but do it in a safe way for workers and beneficial insects.

Puffer® CM-O Pro for Codling Moth
Fast to deploy aerosol pheromone solution for codling moth control
CheckMate® Puffer® CM-O Pro is Suterra’s optimized aerosol release formulation for Codling Moth (CM) mating disruption in apples, pears, walnuts and other crops where CM is present.
This proprietary formulation results in enhanced aerosolization of the pheromone creating a spray that better penetrates targeted areas of the canopy. The fastto-deploy product releases a precise, consistent amount of CM sex pheromone throughout the orchard, reducing adult males’ ability to find females. This disrupts the mating cycle and suppresses pest populations.
CheckMate® Puffer® CM-O Pro is compatible with all integrated pest management (IPM) tools. The product is also suitable for organic production.
Why Growers Choose CheckMate® Puffer® CM-O Pro
• Available in two sizes: Standard or Extended
• Optimized for the duration of your growing season
• Easy and fast deployment
• Hang once for protection that lasts all season long
• Consistent and precise release throughout the orchard
• Reduces pest populations
• Fights development of insecticide resistance
• Does not harm beneficial insects
• Low worker exposure
