Beginning 2025 with restorative energy and an open heart

This time of year is for reflection, relaxation, and restoration. Let us share the HRart Center with you as we reflect on all the things we accomplished in 2024, and what we’re looking forward to in 2025.
We couldn’t have done it without you!
• You joined us in celebrating our new location
• You welcomed the launch of our HRart Institute
• You showed up and enjoyed classes
• You participated in various sessions
• You engaged with us to balance energy

Our annual retreat in April took the HRart Center Team to the Nature Inn at Bald Eagle State Park.
In May 2024, we officially made 600 N Hartley St in York PA the new home of the HRart Center!
It was an exciting moment, as we ushered in a new era of holistic wellness and community support.

Samm attended and presented at the Opal Group Conference in Memphis in October. This conference was pivotal for Samm in launching the Energetic Alignment for Leaders program at the HRart Center.

We closed the year by becoming a participant in Holistic Tours Yorksupporting York’s holistic wellness community. We marked the joint venture with an Open House on December 7th.
Looking ahead, we hope to continue hosting more Open Houses in 2025 and introducing our community to new offerings.

Putting systems in place that make daily tasks easier, helps keep the mind free to devote energy to the things that really help us maintain balance
New systems at the HRart Center: HRart Institute (launched in Summer 2024)
Booking appointments, classes and sessions got easier, when we moved from the Noterro system to Square
We are very proud of our accomplishments this past year. And there is so much more to come

The end of 2024 found Samm dealing with some unexpected personal issues, affecting her ability to maintain her current schedule at the HRart Center.
If we have learned anything from this, it has reminded us that sometimes we are forced to slow down, re-prioritize and re-balance.
As such, Samm will be stepping back from her regular schedule for a few months to focus on her family. As her restoration allows, Samm will be present at the HRart Center, with a plan to be back to her regular schedule midMarch.
Samm’s break provides an opportunity to engage practitioners and instructors that have wanted to come practice at the HRart Center. In Medical Qigong, it is important to branch out and work with other healers to gain additional perspective. To that end, we will have some expert guest practitioners coming in to facilitate some of Samm’s regular class schedules (more details following this page).

• New practitioners at the HRart Center
• Experts providing fresh perspectives on Medical Qigong
• Launching new offerings in May
• HR Healers Apprenticeship Cohorts
• Medical Qigong Movement Facilitator Certifications
• Energetic Alignment for Leaders
• Unstuck and Renewed facilitated course... Following Unstuck and Renewed - Samm’s latest book launch in March
• Strengthening our community in our new space
• Opportunities for continued growth at the Hrart Center
We recently shared news about welcoming new practitioners to the HRart Center team in 2025.
Introducing: Kristin Andrews and Elisse Pfeiffer, Katie Spangler and Bobbi Billman

Kristen Andrews is a Medical Qigong Practitioner and Executive Coach with a rich background in wellness, athletics, and education. She holds a Master’s degree from Smith College and has over 20 years of experience in exercise physiology, yoga, and mindfulness.
A former international-level single sculler and Division I assistant coach, Kristen combines her passion for peak performance with integrative medicine. She has served as the Director of Wellness across multiple mental health facilities and worked with a professional football team.
Rooted in her upbringing in the Finger Lakes of Upstate New York, Kristen is dedicated to guiding individuals toward wholeness through energy work and coaching. She is passionate about empowering clients to unlock their full potential and thrive in all aspects of life.

Elisse’s interest in QiGong began many years ago when she studied in NYC with Dr. Chuan Jing Mou, OMD, and former Director of the American Taoist QiGong Natural Health Center. She studied Shiatsu at the Ohashi Institute, also in NYC.
Although not a current practitioner, she completed 2 levels of Reiki. More recently, she completed 2 yrs of study to become a Certified Medical QiGong Therapist and has worked with many clients. She holds a certification in healing with Tuning Forks following Nikola Tesla’s postulate that, “If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.”
Elisse is excited to become a member of the team at the HRart Institute and looks forward to working with future clients, both in person and through distance healing sessions.

Katie Spangler is a certified breathwork facilitator who is currently deepening her practice by learning Qigong and falling in love with the transformative power of sound.
Passionate about guiding others to connect with their inner calm and resilience, Katie combines breathwork, mindfulness, and sound practices to support relaxation, emotional release, and overall wellbeing.
She creates welcoming spaces for individuals to slow down, tune in, and rediscover balance in their lives.

Bobbi first discovered yoga while in college and fell in love with this beautiful practice, not only because of the many benefits to the physical body, but because of the benefits to the mind and spirit as well. Yoga brings such an amazing and powerful connection between the mind, body, and spirit - every yoga class is so much more than “just a yoga class”.
Through years of practicing yoga both at home and in local studios, she came to really appreciate all that yoga has to offer us in this crazy, hectic world in which we all live.
Becoming a yoga instructor had been a long-time dream and now as a yoga instructor and yoga studio owner, her goal is to help as many people as possible to experience all the incredible benefits that yoga has to offer.
We have the BEST people on our team!!
There are some people on our team you may see when you come to the Center for classes, for products, or for healing energy.
Some people you may not see very often, but they’re working hard on their own energy journey behind the scenes.
Now you can put a face with a name and voice!
