I’m Sushil Darjee, a designer who approaches architecture as both a social and spatial practice. My work explores how design can strengthen communities, particularly in places facing change from rural migration and housing scarcity to the loss of shared spaces. I’m drawn to projects that connect architecture with ecology, craftsmanship, and collective living. I hold a Master of Architecture from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of New Mexico. My recent work includes community-based research in Western Massachusetts and design education initiatives with the Sasaki Foundation. Whether through buildings, maps, or objects, I see design as a way to imagine more equitable and grounded futures.
