Dollars Spent in the Classroom

Each year, Scottsdale Unified School District decides how to allocate its resources to have the greatest impact on positive outcomes for students in the most fiscally responsible fashion. Additionally, district leadership participates in thoughtful Interest-Based Negotiations (IBN) with employee groups to honor the work of all who support student success.

SUSD prioritizes teacher salaries and prides itself on offering a competitive benefits package that recruits and retains the best. The district honors teachers by working closely with the Scottsdale Education Association (SEA), which represents certified staff, through Interest-Based Negotiations (IBN).
