Last month, weary weather stayed offshore allowing for a great time to be had by all at the Parks & Recreation Department’s Spring Egg Hunt and Splash Into Spring events. Attendees enjoyed the spirited egg hunting sessions along with arts & crafts, music, sweets and even selfies with the spring bunny himself.

In partnership with AARP, Parks & Recreation will be holding a Driver Safety Course on Thursday, May 12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please call the Community Center if interested. Fees are $25 for AARP members, $25 for non-members.

The Park and Recreation Department is proud to present an easier way to get weather information for the Town’s parks and outdoor programs! Simply call our new Rainout Line at 786-765-2013.

Registration is open for the PEAR Programs Surfside Summer Camp! Ages 6-12. Mon- Fri 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Space is limited and is on a first come, first-serve basis. $250 per two-week session: June 13-24, June 27-July 8 July 11-22, July 25-August 5 Contact Cindy@PEARPrograms.com for registration information.
