XEPS 3.0 SHADOW FORCE

The flex and feeling under your feet has similarities to your traditional PU but with more pop and flare. Built using recycled plastic, so its better for the planet. Built to be mindful without compromising performance.

WING MAN SHADOW FORCE

This board is built for reliability in overhead waves and can also handle the smaller knee-high grovellers with ease. With a smooth and balanced plane shape, you'll be able to accelerate on your front foot and jam in the pocket on your back foot. The distinctive wing trailing the twin fin breaks the rail line, reducing the tail surface area and allowing for tighter turns in smaller waves. The single to double concave helps increase water flow and acceleration while maintaining control at high speeds.

The core is made of 36-gram EPS with a 20mm HD stringer, while the lamination is EPOXY with a 45mm Innegra band at the top and bottom. The deck features 3oz of recycled PET and 1 x 40z Ecloth, and the bottom has 1 x 6 oz Ecloth. The fin system is available in FCS2 or Futures, with a twin + stabilizer fin configuration. SERUM SHADOW FORCE

The SERUM is an every day shortboard designed to perform in waves from waist to over head conditions. Single concave under the front foot enables this daily shredder to engage the face of the wave with double concave through the fins to redirect water flow through the tail, assisting with control and tight turns in critical sections of the wave.

LOPEZ H2 SHADOW FORCE

“The H2, like all the designs I’m working with, was created through building surfboards for my friends to have more fun on”.

The H2 is an original concept dreamt up to skate across flat sections with a low rocker and fuller outline upfront to create speed quickly and efficiently. The back end of the H2 pulls in nicely with a moderate tail rocker and a rounded squash.

Similar in design to a small wave shortboard, the squash tail allows for freedom of movement in steep sections with the speed you’ve generated.

The H2 is like a classic skateboard with soft wheels that rides smooth and does what you ask when you need it most.

NEW FISH SHADOW FORCE

“I love this design. The new fish helped me solve a major hangup I was having with original fish designs - the swallowtails. I only like a swallow tail if it is built as a quad for fast point breaks or with a tiny swallow on a twin with a trailer for mushy beach breaks. Neither of those is the best suited for today’s surfing or geared towards how I like to ride and shape surfboards. My goal when shaping is to make the experience as fun and easy as possible. Allowing you to surf better and more.“

The NEW FISH has a clean curve through the tail and the pulled in squash is best surfed with your normal thruster setup. If you want to ride fast and free in small surf, go a size smaller with the fins. This board flies. For top speed and quickness, nothing is faster on the water than the New Fish.

The PINTAIL NOSERIDER shares a lot of similarities to the Log but as the name suggest is more setup for nose riding.

It has a little more tail rocker to help hold the tail of the board in the wash when up on the nose coupled with a nose concave to provide control and lift. It has a slightly finer ‘egg rail’ to engage into the wave face for a stable, controlled ride and the plan shape is also a little more generous in the nose to allow easy walking and cross-stepping. The pintail is a very forgiving and versatile tail shape that can be turned or jammed easily to match the speed of the wave. This board is available in three sizes, including a ten footer for the bigger surfer and is an asset in the quiver for both beach breaks

The skEgg is a rounded nose rounded tail shape like an EGG. The egg shape is designed as a fun addition to the quiver and the Intention is to provide a design that sits between a shortboard and a longboard. The round tail is a compromise in manoeuvrability between a square tail and pin tail. Square tail has multiple pivot points for looseness and pin tail is designed for speed and hold.

Smooth curves in the outline, rail and bottom curves helps this design carry speed in weaker waves.

SKEGG ECO SKIN

The skEgg is a rounded nose rounded tail shape like an EGG. The egg shape is designed as a fun addition to the quiver and the intention is to provide a design that sits between a shortboard and a longboard. The round tail is a compromise in manoeuvrability between a square tail and pin tail. Square tail has multiple pivot points for looseness and pin tail is designed for speed and hold.

JALAAN SLABB

Jalaan Slabb is an Aboriginal, 16 year young female Shaper and surfer from the small coastal town of Fingal Head, Australia. Hailing from the Coodjinburra Clan of the Bundjalung nation, Jalaan grew up learning her culture from her family.

Born into a surfing family, she has always surfed and just a couple of years ago was introduced to the art of shaping and she hasn’t stopped. Jalaan’s passion for designing and shaping surfboards comes from her connection to the land and the ocean.

It is evident in her shapes that in every touch there is something special.

Jalaan’s name comes from the Bundjalung language,meaning rainbow, showing us who Jalaan is and the boards she’s bringing out of the bay.

THE PINT / PU CONSTRUCTION

The Pint has a shorter rail line than the All Day, which decreases drag and increases speed while allowing this board to be surfed in smaller waves. The wider outline and a generous amount of volume ensures The Pint is a paddling machine that accelerates quickly and catches waves with minimal effort. The only drawback with a wider plan shape is that the Pint is more suited to wave sizes head high and under and feels very comfortable in waves from knee to chest high. The medium to low rail help to draw out turns and control speed, and the flat entry rocker enables instant acceleration when combined with a single to double concave allowing full control. Produced with traditional materials, The Pint has a PU core with 2 x layers of 4oz E-Cloth on the deck and 1 x layer of 4oz E-Cloth on the bottom, ensuring a durable, functional surfboard that will perform for a wide range of surfers in a diverse range of conditions. The double concave between the fins and vee off the tail ensures rail to rail transitions are easy during high-speed carving turns. Medium to fuller rail ensures that this Twin is forgiving and is very hard to put a foot wrong in a wide range of surf conditions. The bottom contours are a subtle single concave under the front foot with a slight double between the fins. This assists turning and going from rail to rail which is made easier with the wide swallow tail.

LONG TWIN / PU CONSTRUCTION

The Rip Curl Long Twin has a longer straighter rail line that generates down the line speed with minimal effort. The designer, Kurt Henson, placed a subtle curve in the outline starting toward the back half of the board to add release and more agility in and around the pocket. Developed on crisp winter mornings during south swell events at Lennox Head Point.

Large open faced waves were the canvas for the R&D and the Long Twin performs at high speed when on rail but has the agility to change direction quickly when the inside section hugs the reef and starts to standup and tube.

Easy paddling with a medium mid-length rocker, flat under the front foot feeding into a Vee Double concave, the deep swallow maintains bight and control at speed.
