Dante E. Tognazzi, Jr., is a man characterized by service and faith. His kindness and generosity of spirit are recognizable as soon as any individual meets him. Dante has seen the growth of this community from a small town to a community of more than 100,000 people, and he has also witnessed the growth of health care in Santa Maria, noting his remembrances of opening of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Hospital by the Sisters of Saint Francis to what has become the new, expanded Marian Regional Medical Center.

“With the opening of the new hospital, Santa Maria is experiencing even greater strides toward expanded health care,” recalled Dante.

Dante had decided to give to Marian even before the plans to expand the existing hospital had been finalized. He chose to give through a planned gift to support the needs of future Marian patients and families. Dante’s gift was given to honor the legacy of care and service provided by the founding congregation of the Sisters of Saint Francis.

Dante E. Tognazzi, Jr., a long-time friend and supporter of Marian.

“Giving this gift ensures that Marian can provide excellent service, the best doctors, and the finest care for the people of Santa Maria for generations to come,” added Dante.

An invitation to join the Marian Legacy Society is extended to anyone who, like Dante, would like to make a provision for Marian through bequests, estate plans or life income agreements such as charitable remainder trusts, life insurance policies, pooled income funds, or remainder interests in a residence.

Membership in the Legacy Society is open to all friends of Marian who want to be partners in its future. Gifts of all sizes are important and welcome, and no gift minimum is required to enjoy full membership.
