A SNIPPET FROM SUPPLY

FROM THE FOUNDER Hi, West 6th Readers! September felt like one last glorious exhale of summer (and the never-ending Texas heat), with plenty of newness mixed in to distract us from the fact that it was still 90 degrees outside. This month brought some very good arrivals. Lulie Wallace introduced a new vinyl grasscloth ground, giving making her new patterns bathroom-friendly, because apparently practicality can be pretty. Parker & Jules leaned into fantasy with reimagined New Romantic favorites Chintz 21 and Spicewood, alongside a new collection of essential basics designed to play beautifully with their wider palette. Studio Humbug launched new wovens and coordinating Pelargonium linens, and we welcomed RAD Goods to the SUPPLY family. Lots to love, lots to scheme with. Add to cart, STAT. Closer to home, September was a busy month. We hosted Design Campers from across the country for a showroom breakfast, built a Mahjong-inspired scheme, and celebrated Mexican Independence Day with a vibrant patterned board. Most importantly, SUPPLY turned 11! That's eleven years of pattern, people, beautiful rooms, and far too many memos, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We also started something new: a behind-the-scenes series with me, giving you a peek at what goes into running SUPPLY, discovering new collections, making approximately 400 decisions before lunch, and all the beautiful chaos in between. And now, October. We’re manifesting cooler weather, heading to Round Top, warming up our palettes, and getting ready for some very good upcoming installs. Fall in Texas may be mostly theoretical at this point, but we’re dressing for the season anyway. Bring it on.

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT

LEXI SLABAUGH What are you most excited about in the coming year? I’m most excited to deepen my relationships with clients in the coming year. I’m looking forward to traveling, attending events, and having more opportunities to connect in person. I also love working with my team at SUPPLY—their creativity and collaboration make every day more inspiring, and I’m excited to see what we accomplish together. What has shaped your interior design taste? Travel has had the biggest influence on my interior design taste. Living in Florence and London gave me the chance to experience two very different approaches to design: Florence deepened my appreciation for history, craftsmanship, and spaces that feel collected over time, while London showed me how confidently color, pattern, and unexpected pieces can work together.

JUST LAUNCHED Parker & Jules release Spicewood & Chintz 21

Two new prints drawn from the same well of ideas, Spicewood and Chintz 21, are different expressions of the studio’s 2026 New Romantics trend book and, together, a statement about where decorative is heading. Spicewood began with an idea that Jules had been waiting for the right time to create. She wanted to approach a mushroom print in a way that felt neither too twee nor too trenddriven. “A subtle linen-weave texture has been layered,” she said. “To give the surface depth and a handcrafted quality, while the distortion of the scale creates the feeling of having stepped into another world.” After numerous hours researching the individual elements and decorative language of historic chintz within the V&A archive, the pattern Chintz 21 was crafted from scratch. Chintz 21 reimagines and honors the famous Indian flower, with its fantasy flowers and remarkable decorative detail, to creeate something entirely new. WEST 6TH

JUST LAUNCHED

RAD Goods is the debut fabric and wallpaper collection from California design firm Redmond Aldrich Design. Founder Chloe Redmond Warner was inspired to create the collection after one idyllic summer in Maine. The designs feature her hand painted work, drawn from the island’s flowers, foliage and landscape. Her first pattern, Peony Chintz, began as gouache on watercolor paper before it evolved into a textile. The collection earned a 2025 LUXE RED Award for Textiles and ranges from four distinctive patterns: Peony Chintz, Meadow, Sunblock, and Busy Bee, moving from lush florals to crisp geometrics with a collected, vintage feel. This collection was designed to layer beautifully across various styles.
