FROM THE FOUNDER Hi, West 6th Readers!

Another month, another reminder that great design never takes the summer off.

This issue blooms with fresh inspiration, starting with Garden Fresco, our newest collection with Sarah Gordon.

Equal parts romantic and refined, it captures the beauty of an ever-changing garden through painterly florals and timeless color.

We're also thrilled to welcome Postcard from Japan, the latest collection from Studio Humbug, inspired by travels abroad and thoughtful craftsmanship. H. Townes makes a splash with a fresh Swimmers colorway, while Maresca debuts a performance fabric collection that makes patios, poolsides, and porches as stylish as the rooms inside.

No issue would be complete without a look back at what inspired us — favorite Instagram moments, a Boot Ranch bunkroom, a Wimbledon-worthy color story, dreamy nursery schemes, and a mural tour we're obsessing over.

H. TOWNES

Kelti Smith is the Austin-based designer behind H. TOWNES, a studio crafting timeless, hand-painted wallpaper designed to be lived with. Her collections blend rich color with contemporary takes on traditional motifs — from peonies to longhorns — each refined to stay true to her original vision.

Describe your style in three words.

Timeless, whimsical, painterly

What are you most excited about in the future?

One of my favorite parts of this work is seeing how people make each pattern their own. Every installation feels different, and it's always inspiring to see a design interpreted through someone else's vision.

I'm especially excited about the recent launch of new colorways for our Swimmers and Longhorns prints. It's rewarding to give familiar patterns new life, and I can't wait to see the creative ways designers and homeowners incorporate them into future projects.

What made you want to start your line?

I loved the idea of creating something that completely transforms a room. Wallpaper has the unique ability to set the tone for a space in an instant, and I was drawn to the impact it can have. Before starting H. Townes, I primarily created one-of-a-kind paintings. Wallpaper became a way to translate that same painterly quality into something more accessible, allowing my artwork to become part of people's everyday lives.

Is there a piece or project you've made that you're especially proud of?

It's hard to choose just one because each collection represents a different creative intention. The Swimmers print was especially rewarding to develop, as the original painting had irregular edges that made turning it into a seamless repeat more complex. I had to carefully rework and align each section so that it repeated naturally, almost like fitting together the pieces of a puzzle. The process required a great deal of patience but was so fun to figure out!

What inspires you?

I'm endlessly inspired by color and fascinated by how different combinations can completely change the mood of a room. I also find inspiration in local identities (like Texas swimming hole lovers & Longhorn fans), collected interiors, and the individual details that make a home feel lived in. I love spaces that feel layered and deeply personal rather than perfectly curated. I'm inspired by connection and creating designs that help people tell their own stories through the places they live.

GARDEN FRESCO Sarah Gordon

Garden Fresco is Sarah Gordon's third exclusive collection with SUPPLY. Five wallpaper patterns move between lush, immersive botanicals and quieter architectural coordinates — designed to be used individually or layered throughout a space. Each design began as a handpainted botanical study before becoming wallpaper and was inspired by the textures of aged walled gardens, The collection spans 34 colorways across five patterns: Garden Fresco, Pond Flower, Fern Stripe, Iris Lattice, and Wave Stripe. With colors ranging from saturated jewel tones to softer blues and greens, every pattern was designed to work together, giving designers a complete toolkit from a single collection.

JUST LAUNCHED Postcard from Japan by Studio Humbug

Already among our bestsellers since launching with us last year, Studio Humbug returns with their newest collection. Postcard from Japan draws on traditional Japanese techniques — paper marbling, woodblock printing and expressive ink work — across three wallpapers and a coordinating fabric, layering rhythmic geometrics with softly scrolling florals in a palette of chalky mineral tones and faded pigments.

The collection introduces four designs: Abacus, a richly textured hand-carved potato print; Pelargonium, a large-scale scrolling botanical drawn from traditional kimono florals; Kyoto, a quietly textural backdrop in a single deeply pigmented blue; and Yagasuri, a linen-viscose fabric rooted in the Japanese arrow-feather motif.
