SIZES Most plastic cards are printed as CR-80 size and .030” thickness. This is considered a standard credit card and measures 2-1/8” x 3-3/8”. There are many other sizes and thicknesses available, most of which are featured in this catalog. We can custom produce any size or shape desired. Some custom work may require a special die cut which we can accommodate.

THICKNESSES The standard card is .030” (30 mil) thick. It is durable and can be embossed and encoded. A thin card can be .010”, .012”, .015”, .018”, .020”, or .022” thick. These cards are flexible. We can accommodate thicknesses up to .060”. Please inquire as to what thickness will work best with your art. All thicknesses of cards can be glue affixed by us to card holders and carriers.

SERVICES We offer a variety of services designed to meet your needs, including: embossing; magnetic striping and encoding; bar coding; thermal and ink jet printing; all types of packaging; verifying; and mailing. For details on services and fulfillment, please refer to page 7. Please see page 6 for a description of our inventoried card program.

PROOFS The fastest proofing method is an electronic PDF that will be emailed to you at no charge. Actual press proofs are available at a nominal fee. Please inquire.

STANDARD PLASTIC COLORS Many plastic colors are available, including metallics such as gold, silver, and copper. Please inquire for availability.

FAST PRODUCTION/RESPONSE TIME Our response time is designed for fast turn-around. The average production schedule on standard orders is 10 to 14 business days from approval of PDF proof or sample. Very large and complex orders with add-ons such as embossing, bar codes, magnetic stripes, encoding, thermal and ink jet printing, fulfillment or slots and holes may require additional time to complete.

GENERAL INFORMATION SHIPPING INFORMATION

QUOTATIONS Quotations are valid for 30 days, and are subject to review of artwork and specifications.

PRODUCTION We offer one of the fastest response times in the industry. Production time on standard orders is 10 to 14 working days from proof approval. Very large or complex orders with add-on services such as embossing, bar coding, mag striping, thermal and ink jet printing, may take additional time to complete. Rush service is available.

INKS/PLASTIC COLORS All standard PMS ink colors are available. If you require a match of your color, but are unable to provide us with a PMS number, we will choose the closest shade available from our standard colors. We are unable to guarantee exact matches. Be aware that ink shades may vary when printed on colored plastic. Shades of plastic cards may vary from shipment to shipment. Therefore, we cannot guarantee exact plastic shade match from order to order, or even from sample to order.

Our shipments are made via Fed Ex ground, F.O.B. Pompano Beach, Florida. Unless you prefer to be billed for shipping and handling, please specify your customer account shipping number. Expedited shipping such as next day and second day services are available for rush orders. All orders will be shipped to the destination specified on the invoice. For completed orders that are particularly large, or that have been designated as a rush, partial shipments may be requested by the customer, for an additional service fee. In these cases, the balance of the order will be shipped regular Fed Ex ground service. Parcels are boxed according to the quantity and size of the product. One drop-ship location is included; for each additional location, a service fee will apply.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS International shipments are F.O.B. Pompano Beach, Florida. Please contact us for shipping information and charges.All shipping prices are based on US dollars, and do not include tariffs, duties, or brokerage fees.

RETURNS AND LIABILITIES

We do our best to ship the exact quantity ordered. If the order results in over-runs, we will contact you regarding purchase of the extras. It is standard industry practice to ship plus or minus 10%.

Any shortages, errors, or damage must be reported in writing within 30 days. Customer must notify the company and obtain authorization number before returning any order. The company will replace any products that are defective or of substandard quality, as measured against our sample or proof as approved by the customer. Shipments become the property of the customer upon acceptance by the carrier. If shipment is delayed or damaged by carrier, claim must be filed with carrier by customer.

CANCELLATIONS

PATENTS & COPYRIGHTS

Customer will be invoiced for costs incurred for materials and all work finished at the point of cancellation.

When order is manufactured to customer’s specifications, customer is responsible for any infringement liability.

OVER-RUNS AND UNDER-RUNS

ART, DESIGN AND LAYOUT INFORMATION A detailed art & layout specification sheet is available. Please allow us to send it to you when submitting electronic artwork.

ARTWORK

COLOR

The Graphics Department is equipped with the latest in digital art technology. Artwork should be submitted electronically either through email or FTP. All emailed art should be compressed with Stuffit or ZIP. Please include a PDF for viewing. We work with Macintosh based equipment. When preparing art, certain specifications must be followed or time delays will occur. We will send you a detailed Graphics Spec Sheet upon request.

Please be sure to specify your colors properly. PMS numbers must be supplied for spot colors. Process color should be supplied in CYMK. RGB images must be converted to CMYK.

FONTS

BLEEDS

Please include ALL fonts (suitcase and screen) with your files. Do not send PC fonts. Convert text to paths, curves or outlines prior to submitting artwork; otherwise your desired fonts may drop and be substituted. Reverse type must be bold; serif or script types may not hold when reversed unless they are bold. Please use at least 5 point letters for legibility.

RECOMMENDED SOFTWARE We use Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat Pro) and QuarkXPress 8.

Artwork that bleeds must extend 1/8” beyond the edge of card. If art does not bleed, keep images 1/8” in from card edge.

PROOFING Orders are proofed via PDF through e-mail at no charge. Other options are available, including paper proof, and pre-production sample proof. Please check with your account representative for requirements and availability. If color matching is critical, it is advisable to send in a color swatch or color proof of your art, so we can understand your expectations.

INVENTORIED CARD PROGRAMÂ - Cards are held in our inventory and personalized upon request. Lists are emailed to us, in Excel or Word files. We will then personalize your cards and send to one address. Orders will be mailed via First Class Mail or Fed Ex Ground, at the discretion of the manufacturer. Expedited or foreign shipments will require additional charges. There is no expiration on the program; however, after 3 years of inactivity, cards will be discarded.
