Testimonials

Consulting

"How to Build It” is one of the yachting industry’s bestkept secrets. The Superyacht Times team consistently delivers in-depth content that is both insightful and highly relevant. They tackle topics I’m most curious about, yet rarely find information on. For instance, I’ve been eager to learn more about Feadship Project 821, and the latest issue provided exactly that. The detailed analysis went beyond surface-level information, offering the kind of depth that I, and many others in the industry are looking for.”

"As a yacht designer, I rely on How to Build It for its deep dive into the technical and behind-the-scenes aspects of yacht building. The magazine’s commitment to uncovering and sharing the latest innovations is invaluable, particularly in an industry that thrives on cutting-edge developments. Their recent feature on our Open Source project, Zero—the world’s first fossil fuelfree yacht—is a testament to their dedication to promoting progress and knowledge sharing among peers. How To Build It truly serves the yacht-building community like no other.

Testimonials

Graeme Preston | Owner’s

Representative, project manager

"How to Build It is a fantastic resource in the superyacht industry; providing comprehensive, objective reports and expert advice on cuttingedge technology, but also discussing the technical challenges that we face behind the scenes as owners’ representatives, suppliers and consultants with ‘on-the-ground’ insight. It’s great to see not so recognisable names such as MAN Cryo and Powercell among others, for example, showcasing their technical skills on Feadship project 821 in issue 5

Lee Stevenson | Occam Marine

"Long overdue, the arrival of How to Build It has been well received by the industry. Unbiased, informative, and with a great level of cross-industry coverage, has made this a must-read publication within Occam Marine. ”

"Objectivity and balance, these to my mind are the two main virtues of How to Build it, while clearly dedicating room for companies to advertise in allocated spaces of the publication. It fills a gap as a rare example of high-quality technical information, which is useful to the pros as well as those owners who are really engaged with their yachts.”
