I recall as a young’n, being confused about religion. My father was Anglican and my mother, Roman Catholic. Both my brother and I were christened Roman Catholic as infants. Neither of my parents were seriously practicing their religions; however both had been raised in the era of church on a Sunday.
We occasionally went to church, mainly with my mother’s parents on special occasions and there was a short period of time where my brother and I were sent to Sunday school. This occurred after I asked our parent’s questions like, “What’s the difference between Roman Catholic and Anglican, if there is only one God?” and, “If Adam and Eve were the only people God created and they had Cain and Abel, where did everyone else come from? That would be incest and that’s not okay!”
Unequipped to answer such pointy-ended questions, they preferred I ask them of the Bible teachers. This Sunday education lasted a matter of weeks as there was no room for answering such questions there either. This catalysed, at the tender age of 10, the beginnings of an existential crisis in my being. By the age of 12, having researched the Crusades and other such politicised barbarisms enacted in the ‘Name of God’, I sat down with the chaplain at my school to ‘have it out’.
Again, asking the pointy-ended questions, he too was unable to answer satisfactorily for my moral compass. The one that broke the camel’s back was, “So, to confirm. You’re telling me, that it’s okay for the Christians to have killed all of the people in the Crusades and invade every country in the world, killing the original inhabitants, because it was in the name of God, and the people they killed were heretics or heathen, even though the Ten commandments clearly states, ‘Thou shall not kill?” The chaplain’s answer was simply, “Yes.”
It was at this point that I realised the man’s belief system was seriously hypocritical and his capacity to critically think or morally discern was absent. I paused momentarily to wonder what had happened, how had his conscience become so paralysed?
Aware that this was not a question that he would ask himself anytime soon and that the dogma of religion was not about to change, I realised that I was unable to allow him or any religion with double standards to ‘protect my soul’.
‘No offence Jesus.’ I thought at the time, because despite the construct of the religion, I felt the essence of truth with Him. I had already deduced that Jesus, Mother Mary and Mary Magdalene, who I felt had been given an unnecessarily distorted wrap, were not Catholic either.
The next immediate step was to extricate myself from this restrictive christening blessing I’d received. A few more questions of the chaplain gave me clarity. “So, to make sure I’m clear on what you’re saying, I can renounce my religion. However, if I do I’ll burn in hell for all eternity without hope of being saved?” “Yes, that’s correct!”
Wow. Even as I write this now, I am gobsmacked at the insanity and the damage that could have done to my young personage, had I been less confident in my capacity and balanced in both hemispheres of cerebral function. My response was, “Great, that’s not the kind of cruel God I choose to associate with. I renounce my Roman Catholicism, with you and all of creation as my witnesses.”
I walked away and felt my consciousness and whole being expanding with the relief. I pondered, ‘Now, what do I really believe in?’ The answer from my soul was immediate. ‘I believe in the goodness in all things; that there is truth in every religion and spiritual pathway. Unified by their essence of Go(o)dness, it is that which is incorruptible by human greed and lust for power. It is that unifying essence with which I align myself and is my truth’.
From that moment on, I sought the truth about Jesus, Mary, Mary and the Apostles. This search lead me down many pathways. Some of the most useful I shall reference.
Je%!#s Ch*@st! - Blasphemy or Invocation?
Another topic I spent some considerable energy contemplating as a youth was ‘taking the Lord’s name in vain’.
My dad was a swearer. Whenever he was upset, he’d come out with things like, ‘Jesus wept!’ or ‘Jeesuus Chrrrist!’ I recall some very wise words of my mother when questioning her about this blasphemy. “I think, that when people are in a very troubled state of mind and they use Jesus’s name in this way, they are really calling for his help.” Epiphany! Whether they realised that or not, that was what was occurring. This changed my perception of blasphemy. Later in life when I realised the term, ‘I Am That I Am,’ came from the Bible and was therefore a name of God given to Moses, I applied the same concept.
People who speak English will often utilise the term I Am, to describe themselves. It is usually followed by a description of self. I am - happy, sad, depressed, going to the shops and so on.
When written, the lowercase ‘a’ in I am, denotes one as being a unit of unity, rather than unity itself whilst phonetically both are the same. So, whenever
one says I am, and identifies with a state of being or an action that is derogatory towards the self or is dis-eased, it is the true blasphemy and is in vain. Everything that is positive, life and health affirming is the appropriate use of this name of God, with whom, you are and I am One. For, by now, we surely all have accepted the truth that our beliefs, thoughts and words become deeds, experiences and manifest form. Choosing the healthy, abundant ones I Am, as can you.
Sri Yukteshwar
The first book I read on my path towards self-realisation was Autobiography of a Yogi. Within its pages Paramahamsa Yogananda recounts his teacher Sri Yukteshwar’s description of the Genesis Garden of Eden story, which I found most enlightened, as did the entire Autobiography.
The Sacred Heart and Beyond
As I ventured further into sleuthing, the glaringly obviously missing information in the bible about the life of Jesus ages 13-30, I found more well researched references to those missing years. According to multiple sources Jesus had spent time learning from the Essenes, Indian Gurus and traveling to Persia, Syria, Tibet and China, before returning to Israel.
I also became aware that there were once references in the Bible to reincarnation which had been removed.
This reformation is attributed in connection with 1st and through to the 2nd Councils of Nicaea in 325AD and 553AD. Roman Emperor Constantine spearheaded the first council and to him are attributed numerous enormous changes to the organisation and practice of Christianity in 325AD, in conjunction with the Christian Council Fathers.
In 367AD, the Church Father Athanasis designated 66 (!) books that together form the Christian Biblical Canons.
These were in essence the only books included and recognised by Christian Teachings. Upon the discovery of these crucial documents, scholars have been able to confirm that Gnostic Christians also believed in reincarnation. At this time, they did not have the later created label of Gnostics, they were simply Christians
who followed the message of Christ and who ‘coincidentally’ believed in reincarnation.

Reincarnation the Churches Biggest Lie.
These awareness’s, in tandem with my own awakening experience in 1999, catapulted my journey into service to humanity and, when the opportunity arose, to study the Vedic chakra system, Kundalini and the ascension process to integrate and fully embody the initiation.
Through study, I came to realise that the ignition of the soul flame in the heart, is driven by the soul’s burning, yearning to serve. It is the beginning of being what is known as Christed or embodying Christ Consciousness. There must be enough of a reservoir of golden chi, the processed raw chi/ Kundalini, stored in the energy body to catalyse this change. This is the true meaning of alchemy, of turning lead into gold. This takes lifetimes to develop and then, once the activation/initiation occurs either by spontaneous means or through the assistance of a spiritual teacher who has already achieved it themselves, it takes considerable time to truly embody.
For those who seek to awaken this sacred flame within their heart, I offer you this; whilst my experience was one of spontaneous self-ignition, I humbly recommend the assistance of a reputable teacher, as the process will be far safer and far more ease and grace.
Following the Golden Embodiment or Christing, the next stage of embodying
the soul is to create a truly transparent ego. This is called the Diamond Body initiation. Upon completion, the soul becomes ascended, is deathless and unchanging throughout time and space. Jesus Christ, Mother Mary, Mary Magdalene, Buddha, Paramahamsa Yogananda, Babaji and so many others are examples of such high initiates.
Not all who attain this state will be famous, for that is beside the point. The internal journey to such a state is reflected in its name as enormous pressure is required to create the transparency of a diamond from the density of coal.
The Temple is Within You
Contrary to the teachings of the church, Jesus’s banned gospels expound. Churches are not necessary, for the temple is within your purified heart. Purified means cleansed of all grudge, resentment, un-forgiveness and deviations from compassion for thyself and others.

Mary Magdalene - Whore or Saint?
Mary Magdalene was eventually canonised in 1969. Nevertheless, after so long, the reputation still lingers. Then Pope Francis on July 22, 2016, raised her liturgical memory to ‘The Apostle of Apostles’.
As a young female in the 1980s, I only had to look around at the disproportion of respect in the world: class/caste, racial/ sexual orientation/religious persecution and, in recent history, the Suffragettes to bra burning in the 60’s, to see that human beings collectively have strayed far from their true nature of self being care, love, acceptance of and goodwill towards all people, sentient life and all of creation.
In biblical terms, women were given a role model of unattainable virtue in Mother Mary or the polar opposite the whore in Mary Magdalene to model against. In my heart I felt these extremes were a deliberate construct and
noticed they were reflected in all facets of life. One classic example being the expectation of the lifelong goal to attain and maintain perfected external beauty. This socially engineered image is programmed from birth into people via the media. It did not escape me, even as a youth, that boys were ‘studs’ if they had success with girls, whilst conversely girls were described as ‘sluts’.
Although 30 years have passed, I observe very little has changed. In fact, the number of violations of rape still continue to rise. It is apparent that the collective human psyche has been deeply wounded by this portrayal of women and continues to cultivate an emotional auto-immune disease of sorts, in relation to worthiness, self-respect and esteem, within all genders.
To date the Catholic Church continues to suppress the Gospel of Mary Magdalene, amongst several other key gospels.
It is apparent when researching and reading from these texts, that the contents of them do not serve the current agenda of the Church. For those interested, these docu-videos and interviews give insight into these suppressed gospels and relate them to the King James version of the Bible. The documents are referenced and can be accessed by anyone.

I have been blessed to journey this sacred Earth and to visit many temples, both natural and constructed. Within every one, I have found goodness and been reverent, for the whole of creation is sacred. Every place that one’s body temple visits, the spirit is resident within the body temple and surrounds it constantly. Every thought, every emotion, every action is in relationship to God. Nothing is separate; everything is sacred.
As this article draws to a close, I acknowledge the further down the path I go, the less I know. The less I know the more surrendered I am. Thy will, not mine. Thank you to all my teachers on the path.
