As we reach the end of another remarkable year, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to every member of our community. Our staff have shown unwavering commitment, creativity, and resilience, and our students continue to inspire us with their determination, adaptability, and spirit. You are the reason our organisation continues to grow in strength and ambition.

This year has been defined by milestones that reflect both our shared effort and our shared vision The opening of our new facilities at Swanley stands out as a proud moment — a space built to expand opportunity, enrich learning, and support every young person who walks through its doors. Seeing it come alive has been one of the year ’ s greatest highlights.

We also celebrate a hugely successful first year at Wadsworth. The team there has built something exceptional: a culture rooted in care, aspiration, and high-quality provision. Thank you to everyone who helped shape its early success and set such a strong foundation for the future.

Looking ahead, we are excited for the opening of our new base at Earls Court. This next chapter represents more than a new site it represents growth, confidence, and our continued commitment to delivering outstanding environments for our students and staff. We cannot wait to see what we achieve together.

Compilation Album Update!

All submissions are now in, and we're getting ready for the final mixing and mastering stages. There's still a little work to do, but it's an exciting milestone to have reached! We can't wait to share the finished album with everyone next year.

Welcome, Nawras!

We're delighted to welcome Nawras Khalif as Brighton's new Studio Producer. It's fantastic to see our Creative Industries team continuing to grow, and we're excited to see what our Brighton students create with Nawras on board in the year ahead.

It's been an incredibly busy and exciting term for our Creative Industries Podcast! Students and staff have worked together to create a huge range of multimedia content, gaining valuable hands-on experience while interviewing artists, covering live events, producing podcasts, filming performances and developing professional media skills along the way.

Our Brighton students have had the opportunity to report from The Great Escape Festival, producing video, audio and written content, while Canterbury students created interviews and performance videos at their HMV in-store gig. We also took our pop-up podcast studio to the UK Creative Festival, capturing conversations with creatives from across the industry.

This term has also featured some fantastic podcast guests. We welcomed Brooklyn-based band Punchlove while they were on tour in Paris, spoke to London-based South African band Champion Trees, caught up with former Swanley Mayor, Councillor Keith Mitchell, and welcomed back SupaJam alumnus Alex Chambers, who shared his journey into freelance video editing and digital art. We also hosted singer-songwriter Cal Ruddy for a songwriting workshop, performance and interview. Thanks to Laura Green for helping make it happen And there's plenty more to come, with an interview featuring Canadian artist Andrea von Kampen on the way.

Our podcast studios have continued to support learning across all our colleges too. Equipment has been used to record GCSE speaking exams and RSL evaluations, while students have also created wellbeing podcasts filled with music quizzes, games and relaxed conversations to help everyone unwind at the end of the day

Podcast Ideas – Need inspiration for your next episode? A brand-new Podcast Bible is on the way, packed with conversation starters, episode ideas and equipment tips to help you get recording with confidence.

Get Involved – We're always looking for students who want to gain experience in presenting, audio editing or video editing We're especially keen to hear from anyone interested in creating short-form social media clips from our podcasts!

Coming Next Year – We're excited to expand our podcast offer with daily wellbeing podcasts across every base and even more opportunities for students to join interviews remotely, meaning everyone can get involved —wherever they are

Careers & Progression Update

It's been a fantastic term for our Careers and Progression team, with students taking part in work experience, employer encounters and creative industry opportunities, including workshops with singersongwriters Florence Summerville and Cal Ruddy, community work experience, and experiences at the UK Creative Festival. These opportunities continue to help students build confidence, develop workplace skills and explore their future career pathways.

English and Maths Update

We just wanted to say a huge well done to all of our learners this year - you have been absolutely impeccable! Your effort, resilience, and sense of humour (especially in those early morning lessons!) have made this year such a brilliant one.

GCSE Results FS Results

Your GCSE results will be sent to your email at 9am on 20th August – there is no need to come into college.

These should have already been emailed directly to you. If you haven’t received your results by 20th August, please email exams@supajameducation.org.

Important Note

For learners aged 18 and over, results will only be sent directly to your SupaJam email accounts - not to your guardians.

And finally… a little fun fact for you: Did you know that maths and English are used in literally every job –even musicians use maths to keep time and English to write lyrics… so really, you ’ ve all been secretly revising the whole time

Hove Station Project

Our Brighton students were proud to unveil their work as part of the Tribute to the Heart of the Tracks exhibition at Hove Station. The event celebrated the students' photography, alongside live performances, and welcomed guests including the Head of the Southern Railway Partnership. The ongoing collaboration with our local railway station continues to provide students with exciting opportunities to showcase their creativity within the local community. If you find yourself at Hove Station, head into the waiting room to have a look!

Sound Beam Workshop

Students across the college took part in a unique Sound Beam Workshop, exploring an innovative instrument that allows participants to create immersive soundscapes through touch and movement. The workshop encouraged creativity and experimentation, with students producing some beautifully tranquil and atmospheric pieces of music.

Prize Giving Celebration

We rounded off the academic year with our annual Prize Giving Celebration, which had a fun beach theme! Students, friends, families and staff came together to enjoy live performances, jam sessions, hot dogs and burgers while celebrating the achievements of our college community. It was a fantastic day filled with music, laughter and well-deserved recognition - even if the summer heat made it one of our hottest celebrations yet!

At SupaJam Canterbury, the term has been packed with fun. Students took to the stage for another successful internal gig, while our podcast studio has remained busy with students producing a range of engaging episodes, continuing to develop their confidence and media production skills. SupaJam Canterbury’s end of term Prize giving is taking place today and we know it’s going to be incredible! We're so proud of everything they’ve accomplished this year.

Ramsgate Hall Performance

Canterbury students ended the academic year on a high with a fantastic performance at SupaJam Ramsgate Hall. The event brought together students to celebrate a year of hard work, creativity and musical growth, giving them the opportunity to perform in one of our favourite venues and share their talents. It was a wonderful way to round off the year, with students showing confidence, teamwork and incredible performances that reflected just how far they have come over the past academic year.

Supporting Earls Court

Students and staff also travelled to Wandsworth and our brand-new Earls Court base, where they supported transition events and helped welcome prospective students and their families. It was fantastic to see Canterbury students representing SupaJam so positively while playing a part in the exciting launch of our newest college.

It's been another fantastic term at Swanley, packed with music, creativity and community spirit. The highlight was our summer showcase at The Hub, where students delivered an outstanding evening of live performances in front of friends, family and staff. This was a sad occasion as we said goodbye to one of our beloved teachers Guillermo who is leaving this year! Alongside the incredible music, students showcased artwork, refreshments were on sale and together the event raised an amazing £322 for the SupaJam Foundation, helping to fund counselling and mentoring for students next year.

The term has also been full of live music opportunities, including performances from staff and students giving everyone the chance to share original music, perform together and build confidence on stage. We're incredibly proud of everything our Swanley students have achieved this year and can't wait to see what they create next.

As we come to the end of the academic year, we're celebrating an incredible milestone - SupaJam Wandsworth's very first year! It's been amazing to watch the college grow into a thriving community, with students embracing every opportunity and making the base their own.

Throughout the year, students have enjoyed creative art workshops, exciting trips and gigs, and well-earned pizza parties, alongside everything they've achieved in the classroom. It's been a year full of new experiences, friendships and memorable moments, and we're so proud of everyone who has been part of Wandsworth's first chapter. We can't wait to see what the next year brings!
