WHAT TAX BENEFITS DO BUSINESSES RECEIVE?

Businesses operate tax-free for ten full years, including: • No corporate tax • No state or local real estate transfer tax or property transfer tax • No organization tax and license and maintenance fees • No sales or use tax

BUSINESSES OPERATE STATE TAX-FREE WHAT BUSINESSES ARE ELIGIBLE?

• New businesses to New York – start-ups as well as relocating or expanding businesses • Businesses that align with ECC’s academic programs • Businesses creating new jobs in NY • Retail, hospitality, financial or legal firms, business and personal services are not eligible

PARTNERSHIPS FOSTER INNOVATION HOW CAN BUSINESSES PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM?

Businesses may accept college interns, employ graduates, collaborate in research, fund scholarships, purchase relevant equipment, and participate in program enrichment.
