SOFTBALL

Chris Markowski took over as head softball coach in 2023. He has spent more than two decades coaching youth softball teams in the Capital Region. Coach Markowski has served as head coach of the Electric City Bombers national team, one of New York’s top organizations, since 2016.

Markowski has taken his national team to highly recognized tournaments throughout the country, including in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, South Carolina, Florida, Alabama and Colorado, earning top-place finishes.

Before his stint at the Electric City Bombers, Markowski spent more than two decades coaching numerous youth softball teams, including the Express Elite and Miss Shen organizations. Markowski also spent six years as a player/coach in adult softball leagues before coaching youth softball. He spent three years playing in Amsterdam’s Twilight Wooden Bat Baseball league.

Coach Markowski spent the 2018 season leading the Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons high school team, and in 2022, Bryant & Stratton College in Albany.

With Coach Markowski at the helm, the Timberwolves are in a rebuilding phase — focused on development, culture and long-term growth, building a foundation for future success.
