Flake Pie Company is located downtown on the historic St. George Boulevard. With 11 different pie flavors, 6 being year-round and 5 being seasonal, there is something for everyone to enjoy. With the option to buy a single pie or a discounted pack of 3, trying a variety of different flavors is possible with the pies being only about 6 inches in diameter. The B-A-N-AN-A-S pie was my favorite of the three I tried. With the filling being banana cream with a torched meringue topping, it was very creamy and light. With light and creamy being my ideal dessert textures, I decided to give this pie a score of 8/10. The second of the three, “Sweet child O’Lime” was a classic key lime pie that I thought was average in taste with a lot of whipped cream on top. I didn’t feel like there was anything special about this pie, but if you’re looking for that classic Key Lime flavor, it will definitely satisfy your craving. I decided to give this pie a score of 5/10. The third and final pie I tried was titled “The Greatest Dough on Earth.” This pie was stacked as follows: Crust, layer of biscoff, cookie dough filling, whipped cream, and more cookie dough as an extra topping. With this pie having so much cookie dough, it was difficult to have more than 3 bites without being sugaredout. For those who have the sweetest of tooths, this pie would be the frontrunner to satisfy those cravings. I decided to finish the review and give this pie a rating of 6/10. Overall the experience was worth the trip and the pie was a great ending to a night out with friends and loved ones. If you find yourself next to Flake Pie Company, I recommend stopping in!
