We had an amazing time at the Sun Valley Employee Appreciation event at Main Event! A huge thank you to everyone on the Sun Valley team for your hard work and dedication.
Moontower, a multi-family building situated in the heart of Downtown, features innovative architectural elements that set it apart. The building incorporates ground-faced colored block for crash walls, enhancing both durability and aesthetic appeal.
Our scope of work included the installation of 80,000 modular bricks, 12,000 8” CMU, and 3,000 square feet of cast stone veneer, demonstrating our capability in handling complex masonry projects.
Additionally, the 3rd Street entrance to the parking garage showcases a unique IronSpot Brick Flemish Bond in the breezeway, adding a touch of elegance and distinction to the structure.
We recently completed work on the new USPS facility in Norman, OK. The project included the installation of 80,000 modular bricks, demonstrating our capability in handling large-scale masonry work with precision and efficiency.
Additionally, we used 12,000 8” CMU and 3,000 square feet of cast stone veneer. These materials contributed to the facility’s robust structure and attractive finish, showcasing our commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
Sun Valley has been working diligently at Kohler, where we have constructed approximately 1,100 linear feet of truck parking wall. This wall features two colors of block in four different sizes, showcasing our attention to detail and commitment to aesthetic appeal.
Additionally, we’ve built approximately 280 feet of parking screen wall and an impressive 110’ x 20’ split-face feature entry wall. These structures highlight our expertise in creating functional and visually striking designs, enhancing the overall appearance and functionality of the Kohler site.
Meet Emma Weber, whose journey into the world of construction was sparked by a desire for growth and opportunity. With her father Kenny’s nearly 20 years of experience at the Sun Valley, he played a pivotal role in guiding her towards this new path.
Now, as a Project Engineer, Emma thrives on the constant challenges thrown her way—whether it’s handling submittals, samples, or unexpected tasks, she embraces the busy atmosphere with enthusiasm. Her secret to managing it all? A solid routine. Emma believes in starting each day at the same time, which keeps her grounded amidst the whirlwind of her responsibilities.
Outside of work, she enjoys a wide range of music genres, from Christian religious to R&B. A unique hobby of hers involves caring for pet worms that live in her compost pile. On weekends, you’ll find Emma at church with her family, cherishing quality time with loved ones.
Emma is an invaluable asset to our team, embodying dedication and a proactive approach that enhances our projects. We deeply value her contributions and the positive energy she brings to our workplace every day.
