A Family Experience At The Braverman Eye Center By Sheldon Campbell - Aventura Digest
Introduction Many people that I know who need to wear prescription lenses, do so only out of necessity. The fashionable aspect of it is secondary, only because you need to wear them. I was diagnosed with myopia at the age of nine years. Wearing glasses has not been an issue until lately because of constraints within my professional career. I am a petroleum engineer from Trinidad and Tobago, and am required to wear safety glasses as part of daily field operations. Being a contemporary styled young man, I resented the use of those unsightly prescription safety glasses with side-shields, and the use of my regular prescription
glasses with pullover safety glasses was not a comfortable fit; nor was it convenient to wear my contact lenses daily in the field due to all the dust and debris that could get into my eyes and under my contact lenses. For me, the only solution was to have refractive surgery. Referrals – Why Braverman I have been researching the technology of refractive surgery and a reputable centre and surgeon for sometime before making a decision.
